- AFCONA-2023 has a moderate defoaming property and does not show many of the obvious side effects seen when using some stronger defoamers.
- AFCONA – 2023 is the silicone-containing version of AFCONA – 2021. Both defoamers offer a very good balance of defoaming performance and in-can transparency.
- AFCONA – 2023 is suitable for a wide variety of systems, including low polar to high polar systems.

- Incorporation
- AFCONA-2023 may be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good dispersion must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.1 - 0.5% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.20 - 0.40% based on total formulation is sufficient.

- AFCONA - 2023 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in an original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container.
