AFCONA – 2290 is recommended for:
- Solvent-free or solvent-containing epoxy, polyurethane, UPE and UV coating.
- Other high polarity systems, including NC and acid-curing. For low solid and thin film application systems, confirm that this product does not contribute to cratering, as this is a 100% active defoamer
- Due to its strong defoaming properties and silicone-free composition, it is also very suitable for primer coatings
- Incorporation
- AFCONA-2290 may be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good distribution must be ensured.
- Addition and Dosage
- 0.5 - 1.5% on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 1.0% for solvent-free system and 0.5% for solvent-based system (based on total formulation) is sufficient.

- AFCONA-2290 should be stored in a cool, dry place. When kept in its original, unopened container, it will keep up to 5 years from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is indicated on the container
