Dar-Tech Hauthane HD-4638 DMM is a soft, NMP-free, APEO-free, aliphatic, waterborne polyurethane dispersion. It was designed for use in textile applications as a versatile polyurethane coating. This product is ideally suited for use as an anti-fray finish on textile fabrics that must have a soft hand. HD-4638 DMM is also suitable for textile coating applications that require excellent low-temperature flexibility and crack resistance.

  • HD-4638 DMM was designed for use in textile applications as a versatile polyurethane coating. Due to its overall properties, HD-4638 DMM can be used as a finish or a coating for many textile applications.
  • This product is ideally suited for use as an anti-fray finish on textile fabrics that must have a soft hand. HD-4638 DMM is also suitable for textile coating applications that require excellent low temperature flexibility and crack resistance.
Application Method & Curing

Spray or pad -- solids may be adjusted for optimum add-on. Rheology may be modified with associative thickeners for knife coating applications. 

Curing

HD-4638 DMM will form a film at ambient temperatures. Typical oven drying temperatures and dwell times for aqueous coatings are sufficient to produce optimal film properties.
