The inner advantages of the unpeeled organic sesame, however, surpass its attractive appearance. Organic sesame has up to 800 µg selenium per 100 g seed. Its content of potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron is also above average. Due to its high protein content, organic sesame makes an important contribution to the protein supply of vegetarians and vegans. Sesame is considered a digestive regulator, which can be attributed to the minerals on the one hand and to its fiber content on the other. Our organic sesame comes from Paraguay, Ethiopia or India, where it is cultivated sustainably. Delphi Organic Chia, white seeds are rarer than their dark comrades. White specimens are occasionally found in the seed capsules of dark specimens. However, sorting them out by machine would not be possible and would be much too tedious and expensive by hand. That is why selection is made by breeding. In the course of time a pool of seeds develops, which in turn sow white seeds.

The almonds are blanched and cut into small slices after the brown skin is removed. The excellent aroma of Italian and Spanish almonds comes into its own.

Organic Chia fills you up, but it is not exactly low in calories. 580 kcal at a fat content of 31 g comes with it. With approx. 30 g dietary fiber, Chia is considered to be helpful for a regulated digestion. Chia is outstanding when it comes to minerals. Calcium and magnesium are to be found in the favored ratio, namely 2:1, in the Chia. Here the proportion is between 630 and 335 mg. The black variant of Chia is more common. These are the dark seeds mainly of plants that bloom vigorously in blue. However, the color of the small seeds has no influence on the quality or taste. According to the available investigations, both variants are identical. It is therefore mainly a question of the intended use whether you choose white or black organic Chia.

We source our organic sesame from Paraguay, where it is produced in certified organic cultivation projects.
