About Us

Established in 1990, Epoxytec manufactures specialty protective coatings and repair compounds with a specific focus on providing interior lining solutions for water and wastewater environments. Headquartered in Hollywood, Florida, Epoxytec collaborates with asset owners, engineers, and certified contractors to provide rehabilitative lining solutions worldwide. Commonly applied at a thickness of over 125 mils, Epoxytec’s structural grade epoxy is designed to deliver an ultra-high build, high strength lining that incorporates micronized reinforcement to seal against inflow and infiltration (I&I) and provide corrosion protection. In 2021, Epoxytec joined the Tnemec family of coatings, and continues to evolve and supply the coating industry with quality products offering unique advantages for challenging wastewater conditions.

CPP™ Gel: Crack Injection is two-component moisture insensitive, highly adhesive, chemical resistant, 100% solids, high strength epoxy paste and reinforced structural-grade epoxy. Similar to “standard” CPP once cured, this version is packaged more conveniently for Crack Injection and repair by extrusion. Contains no solvents. CPP™ Gel: Crack Injection bonds to concrete, steel, wood, brick, some plastics and most construction materials. Application temperature range is between 40°F and 100°F.

B1 Primecoat™ is designed as a high-performance sealer and coating formulated for concrete. B1 Primecoat™ is supplied in a convenient one-to-one mix ratio. B1 Primecoat™ is capable of penetrating and filling the porous structure of concrete in order to provide an effective subsurface barrier to prevent moisture migration, out-gassing, and chemical penetration. Epoxytec B1 Primecoat™ exhibits highly penetrating properties which provide porous filling and strengthening of the top concrete layer to form a sufficiently strong base for subsequent top coats.

Mortartec Cermaico™ is a next-generation, epoxy-modified mortar. A highly advanced, formulated epoxy blend incorporating cutting-edge waterborne epoxide technology with proprietary engineered curing; combined with a specific balance of Portland cement, hardened ceramics, graded silica aggregate, synthetic fibers and silica fume to produce one of the most coveted mortars in the industrial market today. This results in a smooth mortar application with one of the hardest mortar surfaces in the industry once cured. The Mortartec Ceramico is industrial-grade and exhibits excellent performance properties unlike any mortar technology before it, with incredible adhesive properties, enhanced barrier sealing capabilities assisting with minimizing out-gassing and moisture vapor transmission (MVT).

Mortartec Silicate™ DS

Mortartec Silicate™ DS is an industrial-grade repair mortar designed for dry shotcrete only applications to repair deteriorated concrete, where an early cure, high-density overlay is required. The material is a blend of Portland cement, graded silica sand, fibers and silica fume- incorporating corrosion and rust inhibitors. The mortar is spray applied, typically from ½” to 4” in depth (overhead and vertically) with incredible adhesion. Uses include repairing concrete walls, ceilings, brick, etc. Mortartec Silicate DS provides an extremely dense matrix and will accept coatings at earlier ages than typical Portland cement repair products.

The high solids content ensures adequate protection of sharp edges, corners, and welds.

CPP™ Sprayliner™ is two-component moisture insensitive, highly adhesive, chemical resistant, 100% solids, high strength and reinforced epoxy. Equal to “standard” CPP once cured, this version is packaged more conveniently for spray applicators seeking to utilize plural-component heated spray application. The material can be sprayed ultra-high build, between 1/16” - 1/4” (62.5 - 250 miles) per pass. Blended with reinforcing agents and various fibers, the Epoxytec CPP™ Sprayliner™ when cured creates reinforcement lining as a fiber-reinforced-polymer (FRP), with high strength and flexural properties for partially or fully deteriorated structures.

Once cured, the material forms a high-quality elastomeric sealant. Uroseal™ 45V is ideally suited for indoors or outdoors with use on concrete, wood, and most construction materials. Uroseal™ 45V produces a flexible, long‐lasting sealant with extraordinary adhesion, cohesion, and elasticity that resists deterioration caused by weathering, stress, movement, water, oils, and many chemicals. Provides corrosion protection and chemical resistance; and because of its mixed gel‐state, it is specially designed for use on vertical and overhead applications.

45 Primecoat is a single-component epoxy primer formulated to provide a base coat prior to coating concrete, steel and other substrates. Provides an excellent cross-link with added adhesion. Formulated to assist in the adhesion of coating applications, adhesives, and other epoxies; particularly improves the adhesion of urethane materials as well. Being in the epoxide family, as a penetrating and thin-mil surface sealant, it also performs as base protection for chemical resistance and extended water immersion.
