VESTAMID® D18 is a medium-viscosity polyamide 612 compound that is specifically designed for extrusion and injection molding processes. It is commonly used for applications such as monofilaments, including toothbrush bristles. The material exhibits low water absorption, which contributes to the exceptional dimensional stability of components even when exposed to varying ambient humidity conditions. VESTAMID® D18 is suitable for profile extrusion processing techniques.
