Applications & Uses

Product Applications
  • Air Mist Drilling : Used extensively in air mist drilling to produce high, stable foams under a variety of conditions. It reduces the surface tension and is effective in fresh water and salt water. It can be used in gas well stimulation, as an aid in cleaning out disposal and water wells, and to aid in water recovery from drowned gas wells. Typically, it is used in combination with a wide range of surfactants and additives such as compatible corrosion inhibitors and bactericides.
  • Detergents : Is effective as a base for high foaming built liquid detergents, scrub soaps, rug shampoos, and all-purpose cleaners. The product is very stable in high salt, highly alkaline systems. It can function as a hydrotrope in alkaline systems and acts as a foamer, surfactant and wetting agent, as well as a solubilizer. These characteristics allow detergents to be formulated that provide rapid hard-surface wetting and minimized rinsing in a highly concentrated solution. Suggested starting formulas are available upon request.
