This is a water-soluble nonionic surfactant for use as a high temperature detergent and as an emulsion stabilizer in various applications. It is stable and effective in concentrated electrolyte solutions and can be used as an emulsifier in various paint systems.

- T-Det N-507 is an aqueous solution of T-Det N-50 and must be stored in stainless steel or plastic lined tanks.
- It should not be mixed with concentrated oxidizing or reducing agents since the mixture of these compounds with organic compounds could form a potentially explosive mixture.
