Targon G2 is a secondary retarder which works in combination with citric or tartaric acid depending on the pH of the formulation:
- pH value alkaline: Targon G2 and tartaric acid
- pH value neutral: Targon G2 and citric acid
Targon G2 has the following advantages:
- dispersing effect on the solid content of the plaster
- achieves constant setting
- prolongs the working time
- improves the finishing treating qualities
