TARGON® GA 1 is a setting retarder formulated with sodium phosphate, hydroxypolycarboxylic acid, and an anticaking agent. This white powder can be blended with TYLOSE® MC variants and other processing auxiliaries, such as surfactants. Serving as a setting retarder, it finds application in gypsum plaster that is devoid or has minimized calcium hydroxide content (both manual and mechanical applications), as well as in plaster adhesives.

Application

Targon GA 1 is a setting retarder for gypsum plasters which are free or reduced of calciumhydroxide.
  Targon GA 1 can be used as a retarder for cement based products.
