HALOX® CW-314 is a heavy metal-free, non-toxic, anti-corrosive pigment designed for use in waterborne and solvent-borne protective coating systems. It is particularly suitable for systems where 21 CFR 175.300 approval or compliance with ANSI or NSF standards is required. HALOX® CW-314 is highly effective in improving the infrared (IR) reflectance and thermal emissivity of elastomeric roof coatings. It enhances the total solar reflectance (TSR) while maintaining dirt pick-up resistance (DPUR) and preventing mildew growth. It can be used alone or in combination with other non-toxic corrosion inhibitors and mineral pigments in the formulation of environmentally friendly specialty paints.

Its fine particle size and low oil absorption make HALOX® SZP-391 the preferred pigment for thin-film applications (<1 mil or 25 microns).

HALOX® 650 is an organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for coatings and primers on metal surfaces. It is specifically formulated for use in solvent-borne or powder-coating applications to provide long-term corrosion protection. HALOX® 650 can be used in a variety of applications, including coil coatings, resins such as thermoplastic acrylics or epoxies, powder coating systems such as polyester or TGIC, acid-catalyzed thermosetting systems such as melamine or urea-formaldehyde, and wash (etch) primers based on PVB.

HALOX® Zinc Phosphate is a white, non-refractive, corrosion-inhibiting pigment that is widely used in protective coating systems. It is also known as zinc phosphate-dihydrate and is characterized by a narrow particle size distribution, with an upper particle size limit of 10 microns and a mean particle size of 5 microns. This pigment is highly versatile and serves as a standard corrosion inhibitor for most high-performance resin systems, including vinyl, chlorinated rubbers, and epoxies. It is especially recommended for high acid-value resins, catalyzed baking systems, and vinylidene chloride latexes. In addition, HALOX® Zinc Phosphate is an ideal choice for thin film applications (less than 1 mil or 25 microns). It meets the ASTM D 6280-98 specification for zinc phosphate pigment type I and is widely used in the industry.
