This innovative glyceryl ester is significantly more mild to skin than traditional preservation components making it well suited to sensitive skin, facial care, and baby care applications. Lexgard® GH70 Natural is ideal for personal care products as an alternative to parabens, formaldehyde donors, MIT, phenoxyethanol, and other traditional preservatives that may be undesirable. It is effective over a broad pH range from pH 4 - 8 with a typical use level 1.0 – 1.5% (w/w) in emulsions, surfactant-based products, sunscreens, and wipes juice formulations.
