When we talk about oregano, we actually mean wild marjoram (Origanum vulgare), a perennial from the lip flower family and native to the Mediterranean region.

Funghi Trifolati or mushrooms is a delicious way to prepare mushrooms. The name comes from the verb trifolare, a method of preparation in which the ingredients are sautéed with parsley. Rosemary and sage are added to this traditional blend, giving it a slightly spicier and richer taste. Onion provides a sweet note that goes well with mushrooms. Tomato makes this blend slightly savory and gives an intense flavor. And the black pepper adds some spice.
