Drying Condition:
- Pre-dry is necessary.
- Please dry until moisture content can be less than 500 ppm (less than 0.05%) prior to using. It can be carried out as follows:
Dryer Temperature Hours Hot-air Dryer 105°C More than 7 hours
Vacuum Dryer 100°C More than 7 hours
- The maximum recommended temperature must not be exceeded as this may cause aggregation or other defects.
Start-up:
- Purge machine completely with DURABIO or other acceptable purging material.
- DURABIO is not compatible with conventional polycarbonate, purge machine completely if conventional polycarbonate resin was in the previously in the machine.
