Mosselman Amide KDO (68155-07-7, 8051-30-7, 68603-42-9) is a coconut diethanolamide obtained by the reac-tion of coconut oil with diethanolamine.

Mosselman Heliwet PG 650 (110615-47-9, 68515-73-1) Non-ionic surfactant. Because of it’s excellent mildness and foaming performance this APG is usually used in shampoos, bubble baths, cleansing lotions dish detergent and I&I applications. Heliwet PG 650 provides superior detergency, emulsifying, penetrating and surface tension reduction properties. It also shows good compatibility with anionic and amphoteric surfactants.

Mosselman Sorbitan Tristearate (26658-19-5) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitanesters.

Mosselman Superamide ODM (68603-38-3) finds use in a variety of cleaners, bath products and shampo where it acts as a viscosity builder, for foam boosting and foam stabilizing, as dispersing agent, emulsifier and superfatting agent. Superamide ODM improves also the detergency of other surfactants.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monostearate 20 EO (9005-67-8) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitanesters. They are more hydrophylic than the sorbitan esters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essentiel oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitan esters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. Ethoxylated sorbitan esters finds applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile fibers etc.

Mosselman Superamide KD (68155-06-6) are made by reacting diethanolamine with coconut fatty acid esters and removal of the alcohol byproduct which drives the reaction to completion. These ester derived diethanolamides are less soluble in water and may be liquid to solid. Superamides are used when a suds building material with good color is desired.

Mosselman Soybean Lecithin Liquid SB (8002-43-5) is the most important by-product of the edible oil processing industry. Lecithin is obtained from the oil by hydratation of the phosphatides by water, followed by recover by centrifuge and drying. Crude soyabean lecithin is the most principal source of crude lecithin. Soyalecithin is a complex mixture of phosphatides, phytoglycolipids, phytosterols, tocopherols, tri-glycerides and fatty acids.

Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids N (61790-12-3) oil is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the purification of the wood pulp which contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and rosin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and rosin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the rosin acids are separated.

This amide finds use in a variety of cleaners, bath products and shampo where it acts as a viscosity builder, for foam boosting and foam stabilizing, as dispersing agent, emulsifier and superfatting agent. Superamide LD improves also the detergency of other surfactants.

Mosselman Lanolin 75 EO (61790-81-6) is a polyoxyethylene condensate of lanolin with 75 moles of ethyleneoxide. It is a hard pale yellow wax with a faint fruitly odor. Lanolin 75 EO is particulary indicated for use in aqueous or aqueous-alcoholic lotions, mainly in shampoos, skin cleansing and after-shave lotions.

Mosselman PEG 600 Monooleate P (9004-96-0) Polyethyleneglycol esters are the products obtained by the esterification of polyethyleneglycols with natural fatty acids. Depending the molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol used and the mono- and diesters con- tent, non-ionic esters with different HLB values are obtained. Polyethyleneglycol esters are mainly used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. They find also application in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles, pesticides etc.
