EDAPLAN LA 451 reduces the surface tension of aqueous systems without increasing the foam formation. Thus substrate wetting, leveling and gloss are improved. EDAPLAN LA 451 is free of silicone and has no adverse effects on recoatability. This additive is compatible with all common resin systems.

- Recommended Levels and Use
To improve substrate wetting and leveling properties the normal dosage ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 % as supplied on total formulation. A ladder study is recommended to determine optimum concentration level. EDAPLAN LA 451 can be added at any stage of the manufacturing process. Post-addition is possible too.

EDAPLAN LA 451 is not sensitive to freezing. For better handling it should be stored between 15 and 25 °C. The minimum shelf life in closed containers is 15 months from the date of manufacture.
