FiorioNat Carmine is a water-soluble, orange to red to magenta shade carminic acid pigment that is derived from the female cochineal insect native to Peru. Introduced into Europe via the Aztecs, it has the advantage of being stable when exposed to heat, light, and oxygen and can be reacted with aluminum to create carmine giving bright and vibrant pink to red shades stable for use across many applications. At Nactarome, carmine and carminic acid are used to create distinctive shades in our FiorioNat range.

FiorioNat Crystal White - PN353WHITE is a highly performing, viable natural TiO₂ alternative developed for application in glazes and hydrated creams. It is preservative-free and matches the brightness of TiO₂. This TiO₂ replacer is developed in response to the changing European regulatory environment and the resulting need for product reformulation due to TiO₂ toxicity in humans.

FiorioNat Annatto produces yellow and bixin and is towards orange bixin shade, working in the pH range of 2.5 to 8. This product has good heat fastness and is sustainably produced for the food industry.
