- Extracted from the leaves and twigs of the Prostanthera melissifolia plant species, 100% pure Bush Balm Mint Essential Oil is ethically sourced using the steam distillation method. This beautiful plant grows in abundance around Mirboo North, Victoria the therapeutic purposes of with the local Kurnai Elders noting traditional uses. Balm mint bush (Prostanthera melissifolia) has been used in Australia for many years for warding off insects, purifying the air, and even using the soothing vapors for helping with respiratory ailments. It is an erect shrub with hairy branches, egg-shaped leaves with fine teeth on the edges and mauve to purple or pink flowers on the ends of branchlets. The essential oil has a unique fragrance that is rich and minty with crisp eucalyptus notes. It is rich in menthol making it a great substitute for eucalyptus. Balm mint bush is kid safe so it is a perfect option for respiratory support blends for children.

- Bush Balm Mint Essential Oil is not to be taken internally. Essential Oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly.
