OPW Ingredients Almond Protein / Almond Flour is the refined by-product of the almond oil production process. To make it, Sicilian almonds are gently pressed, and the oil cake is ground into a fine flour. The low bitter almond content allows of the almonds to develop its full nutty aroma, and your baked goods do not end up tasting of marzipan. Almond protein contains minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, and the trace element iron.
