ROKAnol® K5 (Cetoleth-5) is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols (INCI name: Cetoleth–5). The product is manufactured from raw materials of natural origin. The commercial product contains about 100% of the active substance. It takes the form of a viscous liquid or semi-liquid paste, straw to yellow in color, which solidifies at a temperature close to 18°C.

Applications

Non-ionic surfactant used primarily as a mineral oil emulsifier. Rokanol K5 can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surface active agents. It is active in cold water, in an acid and neutral bath, as well as in diluted alkalies.
