The amla fruit, also known as the Indian Gooseberry, is a highly nutritious, greenish-yellow fruit with an intriguing, sweet yet sour flavor. The berries grow on a small deciduous tree with small branchlets. In its native India, the amla tree has been worshiped as Mother Nature because it has numerous internal and external applications within traditional Ayurvedic practices. The nourishing fruit is naturally rich in Vitamin C, minerals, polyphenols including ellagitannins (tannins), flavonoids, ellagic acid and other phytochemicals. The seeds are reported to be comprised of a significant quantity of Linolenic Acid, an omega-3 essential fatty acid and Linoleic Acid, an omega-6 essential fatty acid. Amla Oil has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine for its wide range of beneficial applications. The oil is especially well embraced for its remarkable ability to nourish and promote healthy hair and scalp. Praan Naturals Amla Oil is meticulously produced using a multi-step process that incorporates the nutritive benefits of expeller pressed amla seed oil with the benefits of amla fruit macerated/extracted into sesame seed oil. To begin the process, amla fruit is crushed and is then boiled to release the natural fruit oils. The infusion is then reduced under vacuum pressure. The resulting hydro-extract is then gently warmed in sesame oil, and the remaining moisture is removed. Separately, the seeds are expeller pressed. The resulting expeller pressed seed oil is collected and added to the sesame oil extract to produce the final Amla Oil. Properties: Golden Yellow to Light Brown Hue Characteristic Light, Sweet, Nutty Aroma Medium Viscosity Medium Absorption Effective Slip/Glide Highly Moisturizing and Emollient Uses: Amla Oil possesses an impressive reputation for its efficacy in nourishing the scalp, conditioning dry and brittle hair and for promoting strong, healthy and shiny hair. It also helps to dramatically soothe and moisturize the scalp and assist with dry and problem scalp concerns. Amla Oil helps support natural, healthy hair growth and provides exceptional conditioning and moisturization to the hair and scalp when used as a hot oil treatment, deep conditioner or hair pomade. Praan Naturals Chamomile Total CO2 Extract
  • INCI Name:Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract
  • Functions:Anti-Inflammatory, Fragrance
  • Fragrance:Chamomile
  • Ingredient Origin:Non-Animal Origin, Natural Origin, Plant Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Plant-Based, Ulta Beauty's Conscious Beauty, Non-GMO, Organic, Credo Clean Standard, Clean at Sephora
  • Certifications & Compliance:Organic Certified, USDA Certified
Praan Naturals Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract is produced from Chamomilla Recutita and is also known as German Chamomile. It contains both the volatile and non-volatile CO2 soluble components of Chamomilla recutita (synonymous with Matricaria recutita). CO2 Totals are CO2 Supercritical Extracts that have been extracted at higher pressure than those classified as CO2 Selects. CO2 Totals are the closest representation of the natural plant ever achieved. Aromatically, Praan Naturals Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract possesses a pleasant, fruity, floral chamomile aroma that is similar in aroma to that of the original botanical. It is much fresher, sweeter and pleasant in aroma than most steam distilled German chamomile essential oils. If you tend to prefer the aroma of English and Roman chamomile essential oils to that of German chamomile oils, then there is an excellent chance that you will be very pleased with the aroma of our Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract. Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract is especially soothing, calming and supportive for dry, mature, damaged and problem skin types. Due to its Matricin content, it is also highly anti-inflammatory. Praan Naturals Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract is similar in color, aroma and composition to that of our Organic German Chamomile Total CO2 Extract. Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract is a deep golden green. It consists of 7-17% essential oil. In addition to its essential oil content, it contains the heavier waxes, fatty acids, resins, color compounds and other non-volatile compounds. Present within the extract is 20-45% of Bisabolol (Sesquiterpenol), 5-20% Bisabolol Oxide (Oxide) and 1-3% Matricin (Sesquiterpene). Matricin, a sesquiterpene that is present within the CO2 extract but not the steam distilled oil, is reported to offer superior anti-inflammatory action to that of Chamazulene. Because Matricin is considered to be more effective than Chamazulene, less CO2 is often needed to achieve the same results and efficacy in comparison to working with the steam distilled essential oil. Chamomile Flower Total CO2 Extract is thick at room temperature and should be gently warmed before incorporating it into blends and formulations. It is soluble in essential oils and vegetable oils.

Arnica montana is also commonly called leopard's bane, wolf's bane, mountain tobacco, and mountain arnica. The flowering plant, known for its bright yellow petals and daisy-like appearance, is native to Europe, Southern Russia, and parts of North America. Historically, Arnica has been celebrated since the 1500s for its numerous uses in wellness and skin care applications. Praan Naturals Arnica Flower Total CO2 Extract is produced in Germany using CO2 supercritical extraction of dried Arnica montana flowers harvested in Romanian. The CO2 extraction process typically requires that the plant material is dried prior to extraction to produce the most superior extract. It contains all of the CO2-soluble lipophilic components present in arnica and up to 5% sesquiterpene lactones, triterpenediol esters plus trace amounts of essential oil, waxes and resins. After production, the Arnica Flower CO2 Extract Total is blended with 70% organic Sunflower Oil. It is then carefully packaged to maintain the purity, freshness and beneficial properties of this beautiful CO2 Extract. Arnica Flower Total CO2 Extract features a characteristic aroma, dark brown hue and is typically a thick liquid or semi-soft solid, depending on the room temperature.

  • INCI Name:Cinnamomum Burmannii (Cinnamon) Bark Extract
  • Functions:Fragrance
  • Fragrance:Cinnamon
  • Ingredient Origin:Natural Origin, Plant Origin, Non-Animal Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Non-GMO, Organic, Plant-Based
  • Certifications & Compliance:Organic Certified, USDA Certified
Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is produced in Germany using the bark harvested from Indonesian Cinnamomum burmannii. It contains both the volatile and non-volatile CO2 soluble components of this wonderfully aromatic bark. CO2 Totals are CO2 Supercritical Extracts that have been extracted at higher pressure than those classified as CO2 Selects. CO2 Totals are the closest representation of the natural plant ever achieved. Aromatically, Praan Naturals Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract possesses a beautiful, spicy aroma that is characteristic to cinnamon but is sweeter. It conveys a fresher, sweeter aroma than most steam distilled cinnamon bark essential oils. Its desirable aroma and lower cost as compared to CO2 extracts produced from Cinnamomum zeylanicum make it a beautiful alternative. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract blends well with oils in the citrus, floral, spice, woods and resin categories, and it blends especially well with clove, ylang ylang, rose, frankincense, geranium and patchouli. The aroma of cinnamon is a favorite aroma of all genders and ages. The aroma is quite concentrated, and a little goes a long way. It can bring a lovely warmth and complexity to otherwise ordinary blends. It wonderful for use in home fragrancing, diffusion and potpourri blends. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is often used within a number of personal care and wellness applications, and we encourage you to research the numerous benefits of this helpful extract. It does pose a higher risk of skin sensitization and we encourage researching Tisserand/Young's dermal limit (see below) for topical applications. For holistic aromatherapy applications, Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is especially energizing and uplifting. Although spice oils are warming and are most commonly used during the Autumn and Winter seasons, the oil is lovely to use at any time of year. As a warming oil, it is a wonderful addition to massage oil blends. However, it is highly sensitizing and great care must be used when using it topically. Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract is a slightly thick, golden brown extract. In addition to its essential oil content, it contains the heavier waxes, fatty acids, resins, color compounds and other non-volatile compounds. For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.07% for Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil. The extract may be phototoxic due to its coumarin content. We suggest using a lower ratio when incorporating Cinnamon Bark Burmannii Total CO2 Extract in topical applications.

Indonesian Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is steam distilled from the inner bark of the Cinnamomum burmanni tree. It is a warm, highly aromatic, spicy oil that possesses an aroma that is a cross between traditional Cinnamon Bark Oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum) and Cassia Bark Oil (Cinnamomum cassia). It is an affordable alternative to Cinnamomum zeylanicum and is well suited, in appropriate safe dilutions, for use in soaps, personal care and room fragrancing applications. The beautiful, spicy aroma blends well with oils in the citrus, floral, spice, woods and resin categories. It blends especially well with clove, ylang ylang, rose, frankincense, geranium and patchouli. It is a favorite aroma of all genders and ages. It can bring a lovely warmth and complexity to otherwise ordinary aromatic formulations. For holistic aromatherapy applications, Indonesian Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is especially energizing and uplifting. Although spice oils like Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil are warming and are most commonly used during the Autumn and Winter seasons, the oil is lovely to use at any time of year. As a warming oil, it is a wonderful addition to massage oil formulations. However, do not exceed the recommended usage rate. Praan Naturals Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract
  • INCI Name:Syzygium Aromaticum (Clove) Bud Extract
  • Functions:Fragrance
  • Fragrance:Clove
  • Ingredient Origin:Natural Origin, Plant Origin, Non-Animal Origin
  • Labeling Claims:Non-GMO, Organic, Plant-Based
  • Certifications & Compliance:Organic Certified, USDA Certified
Praan Naturals Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract is produced from the flower buds of Syzygium aromaticum, a flowering tree that offers numerous benefits for wellness applications. Aromatically, it possesses a spicy-sweet clove aroma that is a bit warmer, sweeter and more well rounded than its essential oil counterpart. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract offers numerous applications within beauty, cosmetic, aromatherapy, and soapmaking applications. It is a warming extract that can help reduce mental fatigue, improve clarity and mood, help maintain alertness and support healthy digestion. We encourage you to research the numerous benefits of this helpful extract. This delightfully spicy CO2 extract is comprised of approximately 90% essential oil including approximately 45-75% eugenol, 5-25% eugenyl acetate, 10-20% beta caryophyllene and up to 5% humulene. It is light-medium yellow in color and is fluid at room temperature. It possesses a longer shelf life than does Clove Bud Essential Oil because the production of the essential oil exposes the oil to a great deal of heat during production. The CO2 extraction process uses virtually no heat and thus allows for a longer shelf life. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract is wonderful to use year-round, but it is especially lovely for seasonal use during the Autumn and Winter seasons. In addition to its wellness applications, it is wonderful for use in home fragrancing, diffusion and potpourri blends. It is also said to be an aphrodisiac. Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract blends especially well with other CO2 extracts and essential oils in the wood, spice, citrus, floral and herbaceous families. It can be helpful in helping to improve the aroma of blends and formulations that have a "medicinal" or unpleasant scent to them. For topical formulations intended for adults, Essential Oil Safety Edition 2 by Robert Tisserand and Rodney Young recommend a dermal maximum of 0.5% for Clove Bud Essential Oil. We believe the same dermal limit holds true for Clove Bud Select CO2 Extract.
