- Properties and Application
Main properties of coatings formulated with POLURENE IR 51 AB are fast curing and limited yellowing. In combination with POLURENE AD, POLURENE IR 51 AB can be used for the formulation of sealers and matt, high gloss, clear and pigmented topcoat, when fast curing and high scratch resistance are required. In order to avoid film tightening and short pot life, when POLURENE IR 51 AB is used as hardener, it is recommended accurately choosing the hydroxylated component To avoid turbidity of solutions based on POLURENE IR 51 AB during storage, it is advisable to limit the use of aromatic solvents like Xylene and Toluene and to keep a solid content over 30%.
