POLURENE IR 51 EA is fast curing, exhibits limited yellowing and goodflexibility. It can be used as hardener for 2K adhesive systems for the production of wraps like film/film, film/foil and film/paper, in combination with HMW PET resins, POLURENE FP range polymers, hydroxy terminated polyurethanes and saturated polyesters such as REXIN range. Furthermore it can be used in combination with the above mentioned for the formulation of overprinting resins.
POLURENE IR 51 EA is recommended for the formulation of sealers and matt topcoat clear or pigmented, when fast curing and scratch resistance are requested. POLURENE IR 51 EA can affect the pot-life and all the other component of the formulation must be chose in accordance. To avoid turbidity of solutions based on POLURENE IR 51 EA during storage, it is advisable to limit the use of aromatic solvents like xylene and toluene and to keep the solid content over 30%.
