Properties of POLURENE MD 1600 are the excellent elasticity and the good reactivity. POLURENE MD 1600 is recommended for the formulation of two components polyurethane solvent-free coatings, like: self-levellings, sealants and two components adhesives or primers. The properties of hardness and elasticity of the coatings depend on type of polyol used.

Recommended for solvent free 2K PU coatings like self-levelings, synthetic mortars and adhesives.
Properties: It is inadvisable to use solvents containing reactive groups (alcohols, amines,glycolethers, etc.) as these react with POLURENE MD 1600. In order to avoid wrong reactions with water, we suggest to add some moisture scavenger to the polyol.

The two component system is suitable for the coating of plastic materials, asphalt and concrete.

Storage & Handling

Shelf Life: 3 Months
Storage and Shelf Life: In sealed drums we guarantee a storage life of three months, provided POLURENE MD 1600 is stored under dry and cool condition. In order to avoid the deterioration of the product, the stock temperature should be between 10-30 °C. Once opened the product should be used rapidly, because like all isocyanates, it is sensitive to moisture that can cause the curing of the product inside the drum.
