UCOPOL M 4054 shows high chemical resistance to agents like acids, alkali anddetergents.
UCOPOL M 4054 drying time and film hardness depend on the relative humidity and on the environment temperature. At a humidity of 60-70% and at a temperature of 20 °C, UCOPOL M 4054 can completely dry and can be overcoated after 4 hours. In these conditions, the maximum film hardness can be achieved after 48 hours from the application. In order to avoid adhesion problems when using UCOPOL M 4054 it's advisable to sand the surface before a second coat, if applied after 24 hours.
UCOPOL M 4054 is compatible with resins of UCOPOL M and REXIN range, with nitro-cellulose and vinyl co-polymers. The compatibility of UCOPOL M 4054 with the other components of a formulation should be tested in each case.

In sealed drums we guarantee a storage life of 12 months, provided the product is stored under dry and cool condition. Once opened, the drums should be used in short time, because the product is sensitive to moisture that can cause the curing of the product inside the drum.
