Solaxis Nylon 6 combines strength and toughness superior to other FDM thermoplastics, for applications that require strong, customized parts and tooling that lasts longer and withstands rigorous functional testing. Solaxis PC is widely used in automotive, aerospace, medical and many other applications. PC offers accuracy, durability and stability, creating strong parts that withstand functional testing. A PC part manufactured on a Fortus® 3D Printer is 5 to 60 percent stronger than a part made on previous FDM® systems. It also has superior mechanical properties to ABS and a number of other thermoplastics. When combined with a Fortus 3D Printer, PC gives you strong parts for conceptual modeling, functional prototyping, manufacturing tools, and production parts. PC runs the Xtend 500 Fortus Plus option, which enables more than 400 hours of unattended build time.

Solaxis PC-ISO an industrial thermoplastic, is biocompatible (ISO 10993 USP Class VI)* and can be gamma or EtO sterilized. PC-ISO is commonly used in food and drug packaging and medical device manufacturing because of the material’s strength and medical compatibility. When combined with a Fortus® 3D Printer, PC-ISO gives you parts that can be used for conceptual modeling, functional prototyping, and production parts.

Solaxis Nylon 6 FR - PA 6 flame retardant is a strong and tough FST engineering-grade SLS thermoplastic It shows very good mechanical properties, such as high modulus, high strength and excellent thermal distortion stability. This material meets flammability standards, and is suitable for aerospace and automotive applications. It can fulfill the requirements of functional applications regarding high accuracy and mechanical strength as well as high heat distortion temperature – properties.

Solaxis Nylon 12 is the first material in Stratasys’ family of nylon offerings, complementing the current portfolio of FDM® materials and enabling new applications requiring: repetitive snap fits, high fatigue resistance, strong chemical resistance and press (friction) fit inserts. FDM Nylon 12 is primarily used in aerospace, automotive and consumer goods industries to take on everything from tooling, jigs and fixtures to covers, panels and vibration resistant components. For use with Fortus 380mc™, 450mc™ and 900mc™ 3D Printers, FDM Nylon 12 offers unparalleled toughness and a simple, clean process – free of powders.

ABS-ESD7™ (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene-electrostatic dissipative) is an ABS thermoplastic with static dissipative properties for applications where a static charge can damage products, impair their performance or cause an explosion. ABS-ESD7 prevents a buildup of static electricity, so it will not produce a static shock or cause other materials like powders, dust and fine particles to stick to it. Ideal for electronic products with circuit boards and for the transportation and industrial equipment industries. Most widely used to create jigs and fixtures for the assembly of electronic components, but it is also useful for building functional prototypes of fuel storage and delivery products, as well as cases, enclosures and packaging.

Antero™ 840CN03 is a PEKK-based FDM thermoplastic combining the excellent physical and mechanical qualities of PEKK with electrostatic dissipative (ESD) properties. The material is filled 3% by weight with carbon nanotubes. As a high-performance polymer, Antero 840CN03 exhibits exceptional chemical and wear resistance, ultra-low outgassing properties and consistent ESD performance. ESD values range from 104 – 109 ohms per square inch. This makes the material particularly suitable for space and industrial applications where these qualities are critical.

Solaxis Nylon 11 - PA 11 - Polyamide 11 is a strong and tough engineering-grade SLS thermoplastic and parts produced with this material show a high elongation at break, elasticity and high impact resistance. Typical applications are in environments where high deformations and/or exposure to special surroundings may occur.

Antero™ 800NA is a PEKK-based FDM® thermoplastic. It combines FDM’s design freedom and ease of use with the excellent strength, toughness and wear-resistant properties of PEKK material. Antero 800NA exhibits high heat resistance, chemical resistance, low outgassing and dimensional stability, particularly in large parts. Appropriate applications include aircraft components exposed to jet fuel, oil and hydraulic fluid, spacecraft parts that demand low outgassing and chemical-resistant industrial parts. Using Antero 800NA with FDM technology avoids the waste associated with subtractive manufacturing of high-cost bulk PEKK material. Antero 800NA is available on Fortus 450mc™ and F900™ 3D Printers and is compatible with breakaway support material SUP8000B™.

Solaxis Nylon 12 CF (carbon filled) is a carbon-filled thermoplastic with excellent structural characteristics. The material is comprised of a blend of Nylon 12 resin and chopped carbon fiber, at a loading of 35% by weight. This combination produces one of the strongest thermoplastics in the FDM® material portfolio. It has the highest flexural strength of any FDM thermoplastic, resulting in the highest stiffness-to-weight ratio. Appropriate uses include strong but lightweight tooling applications and functional prototypes in the aerospace, automotive, industrial and recreational manufacturing industries. FDM Nylon 12CF is available on the Fortus 450mc™ and Stratasys F900™ 3D Printers and is compatible with SR-110™ support material.

Solaxis PC-ABS is one of the most widely used industrial thermoplastics. PC-ABS offers the most desirable properties of both materials – the superior strength and heat resistance of PC and the flexibility of ABS. PC-ABS blends are commonly used in automotive, electronics and telecommunications applications. Additionally, a PC-ABS part manufactured on a Fortus® or Stratasys F370™ 3D Printer is 5-60 percent stronger than a part made on previous FDM® systems. PC-ABS gives you conceptual modeling, functional prototyping, manufacturing tools and production parts.

Solaxis Polypropylene - PP is a production-grade SLS thermoplastic. It offers an excellent plasticity, high elongation, low moisture absorption and high durability. It is resistant to most acids and bases and has a slightly translucent appearance.
