STEPWET DF-90 is moderately to slightly toxic orally (LD₅₀ = 400 - 2000 mg/kg); and causes no skin irritation at 1% concentration. STEPWET DF-90 causes mild to no eye irritation below 0.1% concentration.

  • Normal safety precautions (i.e., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPWET DF-90. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling materials. To avoid inhalation of particles, wear a dust mask when handling.
