STEPWET® DOS 50NC is an anionic surfactant, able to provide very good wetting properties for aqueous systems. It enables the reduction of surface tension to extremely low levels. Its properties make it suitable for:
- Emulsion polymerisation as primary emulsifier and/or post additive to latex
- Waterborne paint coatings compatibility between paint bases and colorants, others.
- Latex Additives.

Normal safety precautions (i.e. the use of gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPWET® DOS 50NC. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling material.

Storage & Handling
- Storage Conditions
Below 10°C (50°F), STEPWET® DOS 50NC turns to a cloudy, viscous gel and phase separation occurs. After heating to 40°C (104°F) and mixing with a propeller stirrer, the product is homogenous. During stirring, STEPWET® DOS 50NC turns from a cloudy to a clear solution.
