STEPWET DOS 70-PG is a very good wetting agent for aqueous systems (even at low concentrations) and for mineral dispersions. STEPWET DOS 70-PG can be a useful emulsifier agent for oil in water emulsions. It is used in emulsion polymerization and the textile industry.

Normal safety precautions (e.g., gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling STEPWET DOS 70-PG. Contact with eyes, nose or prolonged contact with skin should be avoided. Wash thoroughly after handling STEPWET DOS 70-PG.
Non-Bulk Storage Recommendations
STEPWET DOS 70-PG should be stored in closed containers and kept in a cool, dry place away from incompatible materials (see Section 10 of the SDS). If material is frozen it should be heated gently and stirred to ensure it is homogeneous prior to use. Stepan’s recommended re-test for this product is 12 months (1 year) from the date of manufacture. After 12 months (1 year), we recommend the customer re-analyze to assure product is within specification.
Bulk Storage Recommendations
STEPWET DOS 70-PG should be stored in vessels of 316 stainless steel or glass fiber-reinforced polyester tanks.
- Workplace Exposure
Occupational exposure can occur primarily through skin contact or via inhalation of vapors and mists. Engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and other workplace safety practices should be used to control these exposures.
