STRUKTOL® TR 141 stearamide is a saturated primary amide with no double bond. It blooms in an invisible monolayer for surface appearance and mold release. It can also be used for viscosity reduction.
STRUKTOL® TR 141 is relatively insoluble in water and has limited solubility in alcohol, ketones and aromatic solvents. STRUKTOL® TR 141 is used in many polymers including PVC, PS, PP, PE and elastomers. It will not interfere with peroxide cure systems in cross-linked polymer systems.
