AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ mPPS SB-1030 is a modified PEEK (polyether ether ketone) resin that has been improved using AGC's proprietary fluoropolymer and compounding technology. The modification enhances the impact and wear resistance of the PEEK resin, as well as improves its physical and electrical properties. Fluon+™ mPPS SB-1030 can be processed using conventional PEEK molding methods such as extrusion or injection molding. Potential applications include hoses or tubes, wire and cable, gears, seals, or other markets that require high temperature and chemical resistance.

Special compounding techniques at low filler loadings ensure the retention of physical properties and excellent cleanliness. ECP 9905 is a very high performance thermoplastic with a very high modulus and strength plus a very high continuous service temperature (240°C, short term exposure up to 270°C). It is inherently flame retardant (UL 94 V0), has very good chemical and oxidation resistance, very low water absorption and very low creep, even at elevated temperatures.
