SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ HS2000X resin is a 17% mineral reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of 5VA at 2mm and V0 at 1.5m along with UL746C Outdoor Suitability rating of F1. NORYL™ HS2000X resin exhibits strong electrical performance, dimensional stability, very low moisture absorption, and hydrolytic stability. This material is an excellent candidate for electronic / electrical indoor and outdoor applications including air conditioner parts, smoke detector covers, pool + spa pump parts and housings.

SABIC's Specialties Business NORYL™ N190X resin is a non-reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) + polystyrene (PS). This injection moldable grade contains non-brominated, non-chlorinated flame retardant and carries a UL94 flame rating of 5VA at 3mm and V0 at 1.5mm along with a UL746C Outdoor Suitability rating of F1. NORYL™ N190X resin offers strong electrical performance, low moisture absorption, dimensional stability, and hydrolytical stability. This material is an excellent candidate for indoor and outdoor electrical enclosure, wall plate / switch, connector, and solar / photovoltaic junction box applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM 1000F Resin is an unreinforced amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin that may offer a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C and global food compliance (FDA, CN, EC). Features are excellent mechanical, electrical and dimensional properties up to high temperatures. The material provides low staining, microwave transparent and cold to the touch solutions. The material may offer very good chemical resistance for an amorphous material and is inherently flame retardant offering UL94 V0 and 5V ratings. The material is RoHS compliant. The base material is transparent amber colored but is also available in custom colors - transparent and opaque. This resin offers extreme low temperature (-40 C) ductility in combination with medium flow characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN™ EXL1434T resin is a UV stabilized general purpose product available in transparent and opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications. Lexan* LUX9130C is available in clear transparent and tinted color options that is an excellent candidate for a wide variety of applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business XHT2143 is a high flow, UV stabilized, high heat polycarbonate copolymer with an HDT/Af of 142 C. It is available in a range of opaque and limited transparent colors. It offers a high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C and excellent mechanical, electrical, and dimensional properties even at high temperatures. This material is also highly resistant to chemicals for an amorphous material and is inherently flame-retardant. The base material is transparent amber in color and is RoHS-compliant. This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. SABIC's Specialties Business Lexan EXL5689 polycarbonate (PC) resin is a GF reinforced, UV stabilized, flame retardant injection molding copolymer blend. This medium flow resin features UL94 V0 @ 1.5mm flame retardancy based on non-chlorine, non-bromine FR agents with excellent processability and improved release performance. Lexan EXL5689 resin offers much improved impact strength and ductility over conventional GF reinforced PC resins. This product is an excellent candidate for a broad range of applications, including electrical and electronic enclosures among others.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ CXT19 Resin is a High Heat Polycarbonate Copolymer Resin with Vicat of 190°C and crystal clear transparency. This resin is optimized to have a broad processing window with limited yellowing. It is available in limited transparent colors. It is a UV stabilized, medium flow opaque material suitable for injection molding (IM) and sheet extrusion applications. This grade offers UL94 V0 @ 1.5mm flame retardancy based on non-bromine, non-chlorine FR systems, extreme low temperature ductility (-40°C) characteristics and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. It is available in a wide range of opaque colors and may be an excellent candidate for a wide range of applications.

SABIC's Specialties Business ULTEM™ Resin 1010UCL is an amorphous, transparent polyetherimide (PEI) thermoplastic offering enhanced flow and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 217°C. 1010UCL offers the same performance as ULTEM 1010 resin and offers further enhanced cleanliness control for (optical) applications. The natural (uncolored) version of this grade is compliant with RoHS and also with Halogen Free standards as IEC 61249-2-21 and e.g. IPC 4101E. For colored versions, compliance needs to be checked case by case.

SABIC's Specialties Business LEXAN™ Copolymer CFR7431 is a non-filled, injection-moldable resin with a UL-94 V0 rating at 1.2 mm and a 5VA rating at 3.0 mm. It is also chlorinated, brominated, flame retardant, and UV stabilized (F1 rating) for additional weathering capability. Available in both clear transparent and tinted color options, this resin is an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.
