Andisil® Vinyl Polymers are vinyl-terminated dimethylpolysiloxanes that are available in a variety of viscosities. They can be used as base polymers or as blend polymers in order to create the desired hardness. These polymers can be cured with silicon-hydride crosslinkers and a platinum catalyst.

Smooth-Cast™ 380 is a filled, high density casting resin formulated for a variety of tooling applications. This no-odor resin features a convenient 1A:1B mix ratio by volume, a 6 minute pot-life and cure time of about 60 minutes depending on mass and temperature. Low viscosity ensures minimal bubble entrapment and long term shrinkage of cured resin is very low. Cured material is very strong can be machined, drilled, sanded, etc. Color can be added with SO-Strong™ color tints.

CORAFOAM® U 100 is used as Polyurethane rigid foam PUR. can be cut with almost any type of tool. Its closed cellular structure and absence of fibers or granular structure result in crisp, excellently defined edges after fabrication. It is also impermeable by any type of liquid, including water and solvents, making it much better suited for severe weather conditions or harsh marine environments than many other materials.

TUFFALLOY 4270 is a series of Liquid Molding Compounds with thermoplastic properties such as high impact, high heat distortion, and low viscosity. This unique chemistry developed by Hapco to meet today's market demands for prototype and low production parts needs.THE TUFFALLOY 4270 Series are available in (4) speeds.The user has the ability to use different speeds of TUFFALLOY 4270, typically using a slower speed initially and increasing to a fast set, 1 minute working life.PROCESSING: TUFFALLOY 4270 Series can be pressure cast, vacuum cast, or open cast. For best results, TUFFALLOY 4274/75 should be used with Hapco's metering/dispensing equipment, RAPIDFIL, MINI FIL, and RAPIDSHOT.

For several years BCC customers have requested a truly metal-like, fast setting urethane reproduction plastic that exhibits many of the desirable qualities of familiar BC 8002 Kwik-Kast. Introducing BC 8010 Metal-Kast, the result of extensive research and development aimed to achieve what you said you wanted in a machinable tooling plastic. Ideal for low temperature vacuum form tools, prototypes, models, display parts, patterns, keller aids and bulk back fill.Handling Properties:BCC's Metal-Kast is a fast-setting, two part casting system which requires carefull preparation prior to mixing parts A and B. Because Metal-Kast contains components of high density there will be some seperation at the bottom of each container. Using a paint shaker, jiffy mixer, or mixing spatula, re-suspension of the ingredients is easily accomplished. Precaution should be taken to prevent any moisture contamination from containers or utensils. It is recommended that the work area be well ventilated and normal cleanliness and safety rules be observed. Avoid prolonged exposure to vapors and contact with skin.Preparation of Mold Surface:Clean the surface from dust and possible presence of moisture. Apply BC 87 Parting Agent and polish to a uniform high gloss finish (usually 2-3 coats are recommended). For plaster or wood surfaces seal with PVC sealer to ensure complete absence of moisture followed by 2-3 coats of 87 Parting Agent.Mixing and Pouring:Although not necessary, best results are obtained by evacuation of each component under 29 inches of vacuum which removes entrapped air prior to blending the two components. Pour weighed or measured amounts of Part A & B into a separate dry container by pouring Part A into Part B. Mix with a spatula or mechanical stirrer for 30-40 seconds for quart size batches or 40-50 seconds for gallon batches while avoiding air entrapment. Immediately pour mixed resin uninterrupted from a convenient height above the mold cavity. Clean your mixing tools by rinsing in an alcohol type solvent. Larger masses (2 feet or more) may be built up with successive pours. Castings may be demolded within 60-90 minutes but should be properly supported while "green". Under normal conditions, maximum hardness or cure will be achieved in 12-18 hours.

Detroit Body Filler 40150 High Temp Gray is designed for use in the repair of automotive, marine, and other fiberglass and metal items where a higher heat distortion temperature is needed than standard putties can provide.

Improves resin flow, improves dispersion of other resin additives (reinforcements, fillers, and pigments), shortens cycle times, reduces temperatures and pressures of molding machines, and reduces or eliminates weld/knit lines. An effective addition of process aid additive will not have any adverse effect on physical properties or secondary operations such as decorating, printing, bonding, or plating.

Smooth-Cast™ ONYX™ SLOW is a mercury-free urethane resin that cures at room temperature to a deep black, solid plastic. ONYX™ resins offer the convenience of a 1A:1B by volume mix ratio and have very low viscosities, so they are easy to mix and pour. ONYX™ resins have an ultimate Shore hardness of 80D and offer higher physical properties and higher heat resistance vs. other general purpose resins. ONYX™ resins are available in 2 speeds. ONYX™ FAST resin has a pot life of 2.5 minutes and a cure time of 10-15 minutes, while ONYX™ SLOW has a pot life of 5 minutes and a cure time of 90 minutes.

LTC102 Prepreg is designed to cure at low temperatures whilst giving the potential for high temperature tooling. It can be supplied on a variety of fabrics to meet your cost and manufacturing requirements.

Pomalux® Polyoxymethylene (POMC) is a high-performance acetal copolymer used for a wide range of applications. Pomalux® has good chemical and high-temperature resistance. As a semi-crystalline material, Pomalux® has good wear resistance and low frictional characteristics.Pomalux® also has low moisture absorption making Pomalux® a good candidate for a wide range of structural and mechanical components that carry or transmit loads in dry or wet environments .

Fun To Do F1+ Blend is the blend especially made for the formlabs Form1 and Form1+ printers. The F1+ Blend is available in four colors: Clear, White, Gray and Black. The F1+ is not only compatible with the machine but also with the Formlabs PreForm software. Just choose the appropriate color and the V01 setting. Then Dial in the layer height. Because of the very high detail of the blend, especially the Black version, astonishing detailed results are achievable at 0.05 and 0.02mm layer height.

PT Flex 60 are two-component, fast-setting polyurethane rubbers that cure at room temperature (RTV). Available in a variety of hardnesses, these products are excellent for prototyping and model making applications and for the casting of production parts, props, tools, and more.

TPU T3160 is a polyester based material with good processability, short cycle time, and excellent mechanical properties for injection molding applications.

Ebalta MG 707 / Z 400 is a 2-components polyurethane material, which is cured thermically and used for prototypes. The four mentioned formulations differ in being filled or non-filled and their mechanical properties. The B-components Z 400 (potlife 8-12 min.) and Z 460 (potlife 60-70 min.) are identical and can be mixed with each other to control the reactivity, e.g. potlife. These combinations of Z 400 and Z 460 comp. B can be made any way as long as the totally required quantity of comp. B is observed (for each system). The total amount of Z 400 and Z 460 always has to be 30 g for 100 g comp. A

Rhino Linings USA, Inc. 1314 Resin is a Marine Laminating, Low Viscosity Epoxy Resin/ Offsets:West 105. Used for marine applications such as laminates, adhesives, sealers and fairing compounds. Also used where a low viscosity, quick curing epoxy system is desired. Very low mixed viscosities quickly wet thick reinforcements. Exhibits very low exudation, allowing secondary bonding with minimal preparation.

Owens Corning M130 chopped strand mat represents a general-purpose solution for open mold hand lay-up applications in a variety of industries. HPX-850 is a light weight, heat resistant, two component epoxy backfill system. Like BC 7020, the filler portion is pre-blended into the resin and hardener components for easier handling, thus simplifying the mixing process. Post cure for applications requiring temperatures above 150°F can be accomplished in an oven or in use by a gradual heat rise; 2 hours @ 150°F, plus 2 hours @ 250°F, plus 2 hours at 300°F.

EPOTUF® 37-601 is a modified cycloaliphatic amine adduct based on isophorone diamine intended for room temperature curing of EPOTUF epoxy resins.

APCM DA 4082 is 200°F cure modified epoxy prepreg system which can be prepreged on fiberglass fabric, woven Kevlar, or other woven fabrics. In addition to their low temperature cure capabilities, DA 4080 prepregs have excellent flow to allow for vacuum bag cure conditions. DA 4080 is a one sided pre-impregnated system yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4082 is the same system except that both sides of the fabric are coated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepregs can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

Poly 74-29 Polyurethane Rubbers consist of two parts (A and B), which, after mixing, cure at room temperature to flexible, high-strength, mold rubbers. Poly 74-29 Rubbers make durable, easy-releasing molds for casting plasters and waxes without release agents. When Poly 74-29 molds are properly prepared, they are also excellent for casting concrete and various resins, such as epoxy, polyester, polyurethane and acrylic.

The Hapflex 500 series offers a full range of soft durometers, from 45 - 95 Shore A, while the Hapflex 600 series yields harder durometers on the Shore D scale ranging from 50 - 70 Shore D. All are relatively fast, room curing, flexible systems that do not require post curing, but can be accelerated with moderate heat for faster curing. 163gsm Twill Weave Glass Fabric, often known as Style 92110, is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resin systems. The twill weave offers excellent drapability over compound curvature. Often used as the surface layers on tooling applications to minimize surface fiber print.

Chemlease® Sealer 2697 is a solvent based semi-permanent mold sealer for the composites industry that allows for easy application. The product should be applied very thinly to the mold surface. When hardening, the sealer forms a non-porous layer that is firmly bonded to the surface of the mold, the quality of the mold and the degree of gloss remain unchanged.

BC 7062 are aluminum filled, low viscosity epoxy mass casting resins. These room temperature cure systems allow the user choice thicknesses of 1/8 inch to a maximum of 6 inches without foaming or yielding excessive shrinkage. Casting thicknesses may be increased by incorporating aluminum needles, puffs or granules. BC 7062, when properly cured, provides nearly perfect reproduction, resulting in a dimensionally stable, hard, tough surface.
