Plenco® 06553 is a mineral and glass fiber reinforced two-stage phenolic molding compound, formulated for dimensional stability, good chemical resistance to brake fluids, such as DOT 3 and 4, and should provide grinding to close tolerances. 06553 is UL recognized under component file E40654. 06553 is available in black. 06553 was qualified under military specification MIL-M 14 (superseded by ASTM D-5948) TYPE MFH and batches can, if requested and paid for, be tested for certification to the standard.

Plenco® 06301 is an inorganic reinforced phenolic molding compound, offering excellent heat resistance, dimensional stability, and processability. Customers have found this material useful for automotive applications. It is not intended for electrical insulating applications. 06301 is available in black.

Plenco® 06343 is a mica reinforced phenolic molding compound, offering for a low power factor, low electrical losses, and good electrical properties after long exposures to high humidity. UL recognized under component file E40654. 06343 is available in natural color.

Plenco® 06582 is a rubber modified phenolic molding compound, offering excellent heat resistant properties, along with improved mechanical strength at elevated temperatures. UL recognized under component file E40654. 06582 is available in black.

Resinoid 2002-C5 is a fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It has improved heat distortion and dimensional stability. It has been formulated to exhibit excellent wear resistant properties. It is available in bulk form and is recommended for compression or transfer molding.

Resinoid 2277 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It was specifically developed for molding applications where a lightweight, high strength material with good impact strength is needed. This material comes in pelletized from and is suitable for transfer or compression molding and can be used in injection molding systems with deep flight screws. Resinoid 2277 meets the requirements of ASTM D-5948 CFI-20 (Formerly MIL M14/1 CFI-20).

Resinoid 2020 is a fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It exhibits excellent moldability in transfer molding. It possesses excellent dimensional stability and impact strength properties. It is available in bulk form and is recommended for compression or transfer molding.

Resinoid 2005 is a cellulose reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It exhibits excellent electrical and thermal properties and dimensional stability. This material comes in pelletized from and is suitable for transfer or compression molding. It can be preformed on automatic equipment.

StarPCS™ SBMC-843 is a discontinuous carbon fiber reinforced molding compound containing carbon fiber, a Starfire proprietary polysiloxane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-843 contains a Polyramic® thermosetting resin which cures at temperatures between 200-310°C, and functions as a high temperature carbon fiber reinforced structure with a silicon oxycarbide ceramic matrix. Compression mold curing produces a green fiber reinforced polymer matrix composite (PMC) material. Further processing to 850°C minimum in inert environment results in an amorphous silicon oxycarbide ceramic matrix composite (CMC) to be used with different infiltration polymers or materials. Ideal infiltration polymers include Polyramic® SPR-212, SPR-212 based slurries (SL-227, SL-480), and other Starfire® polysiloxane products.

Resinoid 2101 is an organic fiber reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It was specifically developed for molded parts requiring nominal mechanical strengths and excellent electrical properties. This material comes in pelletized form an d in grades suitable for injection, transfer or compression molding.

StarPCS™ SBMC-601 is a discontinuous carbon fiber reinforced molding compound containing carbon fiber, a vinyl substituted polysiloxane resin, and refractory particulate. SBMC-601 cures at temperatures between 180-250o C and functions as a high temperature carbon fiber reinforced structure with a silicon oxycarbide ceramic. Curing produces a green fiber reinforced composite material. Further processing to 850o C (minimum) in inert gas results in an amorphous silicon oxycarbide matrix ceramic composite that can be used as a pre-form for use with different infiltration polymers or materials. Ideal infiltration polymers include Polyramic® SPR-688 or SPR-212 based slurries (SL-227, SL-480), and other Starfire® Systems polysiloxane products.

Resinoid 2089 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound offering good physical and wear properties. This product has been specifically formulated for mechanical applications where minimal wear and low shrinkage values are desired. This material comes in bulk fabric form and is suitable for compression molding.
