Technobasalt® Roving is a bundle of continuous unidirectional complex basalt fibers. Roving has high natural strength, resistance to aggressive environments, long service life and excellent electrical insulation properties. In terms of its technical characteristics, basalt roving surpasses S-glass and E-glass in many respects, and is not much inferior to carbon. Basalt roving is extremely heat-resistant: the temperature range for long-term use is from –260°C to +680°C. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000 °C for a short time.

Resinoid 2277 is a chopped fabric reinforced, two-step phenolic molding compound. It was specifically developed for molding applications where a lightweight, high strength material with good impact strength is needed. This material comes in pelletized from and is suitable for transfer or compression molding and can be used in injection molding systems with deep flight screws. Resinoid 2277 meets the requirements of ASTM D-5948 CFI-20 (Formerly MIL M14/1 CFI-20).

Nicalon™ SiC Fiber is a multi-filament silicon carbide-type fiber manufactured by NGS Advanced Fibers Co., Ltd. of Japan. The fiber has excellent strength and modulus properties for ceramic fibers, and retains its properties at high temperatures. NICALON™ is highly resistant to oxidation and chemical attack.

Conductive Composites Nickel Coated Fibers - Precision Chopped (PCF) has developed a proprietary Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) coating process where fibers are coated with a very thin, robust, and ductile film of pure nickel. Our process produces a conductive fiber with superior handling properties and excellent conductivity/shielding capabilities. Through a Precision Converting Process, these fibers are converted into short, precise, millimeter and sub-millimeter coated fiber lengths. This provides our customers and partners with a high-performance structural and conductive additive that is both lighter and longer than typical nickel coated graphite powder. Due to their precise lengths and easy dispersion, precision chopped fibers are very effective and economical as a conductive additive for paints, gaskets, sealants, molding compounds, and adhesives.

Conductive Composites Nickel Coated Fibers - Precision Coated & Converted Fibers (PC2F) 1AC1PC-0.15 is a highly uniform, conductive short fiber format in lengths from 3mm to 100µm. PC2F is a high-performance conductive and structural fiber with superior handling properties and excellent conductivity/shielding capabilities that is both lighter and longer than typical nickel coated graphite formats. Through our proprietary Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) coating process, fibers are coated with a very thin, robust, and ductile film of pure nickel. Due to their precise lengths and easy dispersion, PC2F is a very effective and economical conductive additive. With a wide range of available nickel coating levels and lengths, our easily dispersible conductive short fiber format is perfectly suited for conductive gaskets, elastomer, sealants, adhesives, paints, and other coatings.
