VersaFlex VF 30 is a low viscosity, high solids epoxy developed as a penetrating concrete primer for polyurea applications. VF 30 penetrates and strengthens the surface of the concrete, reduces pin-hole formations and provides a chemically reactive surface to accept VersaFlex polyurea systems. Adhesion is increased with the use of VF 30 by up to three times that of unprimed concrete.

Matt to ultra-matte paint surfaces require matting agents with the highest efficiency. That’s were synthetic, micronized silica of the sylysia range come into play. They are characterized by a controlled porosity and a narrow particle size distribution. The extensive range of unmodified or surface-treated grades makes sylysia matting powders suitable for many modern applications.In addition to pure surface matting, sylysia silica are also used for other surface effects such as anti-blocking and improved printability of surfaces.

CosPaint provides a convenient and ready-to-use choice in cosmetic marking and end paints. It dries rapidly, and comes in a variety of bright colors. It can be easily applied by brush, swab or low-pressure sprayer. Plus it’s recommended for lumber, timber and other wood products.

ECOTINT® Façade is a selection of 7 high exterior durability inorganic colorants optimized to balance cost and performance. LAVIOSA VISCOGEL ™ are rheological additives which in solvent-based paints provide anti-settling and anti-staining properties guaranteeing a homogeneous distribution of the pigments, a remarkable qualitative stability during the storage and application phase. The use is simple and does not require heating or special equipment.

Pigment preparations Versanyl® are hydrofilic, highly concentrated, well flowing pigment pastes containing non-ionic and/or anionic wetting and dispersing agents. They do not contain APEO (Alkyl Phenyl Ethoxylates) and do not contain organic volatile components, collectively named VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds). One in another is mixing in any conditions and ratios. They are determined above all for the production of waterbased paints based on polyvinylacetate, acrylate, styren-acrylate, epoxide, polyurethane and alkyde dispersions. They are suitable also for staining of woods. They give semitransparent shades.

Deliver high quality, bright, clean lumber by using BRITEWOOD® XL Sapstain Control. For more than 20 years, BRITEWOOD XL has protected fresh-cut hardwood and softwood lumber from damaging mold and fungi growth. BRITEWOOD XL is a broad-spectrum fungicide that is easily applied to freshly cut lumber by dipping or in spray box application. It quickly penetrates and binds to wood, allowing for a more uniform distribution throughout the lumber.

UPRENE is a polyurethane emulsion used for adhesion. Especially, this product is suitable for production of decorated plywood because it excels in adhesion with polyvinylchloride sheet and plywood/canvas, and has excellent creep resistance. And this product is able to be used as an adhesion (creep resistance) improver by blending it to resin emulsion type adhesion such as anion/nonionic type EVA, acryl, SBR and vinyl acetate.

CLiQTRANS is an pigment concentrates for transparent aqueous and non-aqueous wood stains and lacquers.

Often, fillers have to meet very special requirements. In such cases not only good dispersion characteristics are of importance, but also mechanical and dynamic properties of the final products. Improved electrical insulation resistance, better aging and fluid resistance in many materials and improved anticorrosion properties have a crucial role to play in many areas. At Hoffmann Mineral, we developed Aktisil to meet such customer requirements. This special filler is made by treating the surface of Neuburg Siliceous Earth with chemical agents, mostly silanes. The reaction by-products (e.g. alcohol) formed during the manufacture of the different products of Aktisil are largely removed right away during the process. The coupling reaction fixes the silane to the surface of the filler. Any undesirable side-effects that can occur during mixing by direct addition of the silane are virtually eliminated. So the customer can choose from a complete product range of many different types of Aktisil. This is the result of many years of in-house experience and of close cooperation with customers. Basonat® polyisocyanates are crosslinkers for two-component Polyurethane coatings for the automotive and industrial coatings industry. Basonat® harderners have an influence on the curing time of the systems.

BENEBiOL™ is Polycarbonatediol (PCD);  linear polycarbonate with hydroxyl groups at both ends which has been developed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation. It can be used as a raw material of resins such as polyurethane. Because of the combination of the “key monomer“ of each grade and carbonyl group, polyurethane resins made from BENEBiOL™ will show superior properties in terms of durability, chemical/stain resistance, and flexibility for example. As some raw materials of BENEBiOL™ are biomass-based, BENEBiOL™ enables your product to be more sustainable.
