CeraSPERSE 321BG is a compound of waxes and PTFE in Butyl Carbitol (Diethylene glycol monobutyl ether). This slow-evaporating, hydrophilic glycol ether provides improved compatibility with both polar and non-polar systems. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

Bomar BR-202, an aromatic polyether urethane dimethacrylate, finds use in a diverse number of UV coating applications. BR-202 is valued for its strong bond strength, its affinity for glass, steel, and a variety of plastic substrates, and for its excellent elongation. SYNTRAN® APU 1602 offers very good chemical resistance and is highly compatible with other SYNTRAN® acrylic polymers. SYNPRINT AC 5111 is an acrylic non-film-forming polymer based on a multiphase technology free of alpha- methyl-styrene. This is a proprietary process that combines two different types of polymers in the same polymer network. It is recommended to be used in combination with another resin such as SYNPRINT AC 5121 or similar. Rovene 4009 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that has a medium hand with above average strength properties. This latex has the ability to be crosslinked with external crosslinking agents. Rovene 4009 can be compounded into highly water and grease resistant paper and board coatings. It exhibits an excellent balance of water resistance, grease and oil resistance, and low moisture vapor transmission. Rovene 4009 is recommended for applications in specialty paper coatings where water, grease and oil resistance is needed.
