BASF Vitamin E-Acetate Care is an active ingredient that is used in cosmetic products for skin and hair applications. Glydant® is a preservative system that provides excellent bactericide and mild fungicide for product protection. This cost-effective, water soluble system can be easily incorporated into a broad number of personal care products and offers water-white/color stability, heat stability, and compatibility with anionic, nonionic and cationic systems.

Isocil® PC is a combination of two commonly used personal care preservatives, Methyl chloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone (MI/CMI). These traditional preservatives have been used for years offering excellent broad spectrum efficacy at low use levels. With the added benefit of a strong safety profile as well as toxicological data, this chemistry is appealing amongst many formulators.

The combination of DMDM Hydantoin and Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate allow for a dual mode of action, offering broad spectrum efficacy. These chemistries been used in personal care for years. Benzethonium Chloride USP offers greater efficacy, mildness, and safety versus competitive chemistries as an active antimicrobial ingredient, coupled with global-acceptance as a fast-acting preservative.

Cosmocil® CQ is a broad spectrum, fast-acting antibacterial. A 20% aqueous solution of poly(hexamethylenebiguanide) hydrochloride, also known as PHMB, Cosmocil® CQ is an effective preservative for personal care formulations, active against a wide range of both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.

SPECTRADYNE™ is a strong bactericide that can be used in a variety of personal care applications. It is extremely mild to skin and is non- sensitizing. Low use levels are required for an excellent effect in finished formulations.

Ageraline® UP is a phyto-active substance obtained by controlled extraction using butylene glycol and water from the leaves of blue ageratum (Ageratum conyzoides). The extraction eluent is an organic, deodorized sunflower oil. TRIstat PCG90 is a broad-spectrum, paraben-free preservative. It is easy to formulate with. It can be used in cold processes, and clear products, and is compatible with aqueous and anhydrous systems. Has antimicrobial, moisturizing, and humectant actives. INCI: Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol The pH range is 4.0 - 8.0. The usage level is 0.5 - 1.5%. It can be formulated in heated emulsions up to 60°C. Liquid form.

Galguard Trident S is a blend of capryloyl glycine, undecylenoyl glycine, and benzoic acid. These two lapidated glycines have good anti-bacterial activity and benzoic acid has good antifungal activity. Hence, combining them together results in broad-spectrum activity. INCI: Capryloyl Glycine, Undecylenoyl Glycine, Benzoic Acid The recommended pH range is 6 or below. The use level is 0.5 - 1.5%. It can be formulated in heated emulsion to 80°C. Solid flake form.
