EcoSense(TM) GL-60 HA Surfactant is a 100% bio-derived, non-GMO, sugar-based biosurfactant and natural emulsifier with a high acid sophorolipids content. This glycolipid is mild to skin and eyes. DOWSIL(TM) ES-5300 Formulation Aid is a non-diluted, low-viscosity silicone surfactant. ACULYN(TM) 2051 Rheology Modifier is an inverse (water-in-oil) emulsion of sodium polyacrylate in dimethicone. This emulsion contains two surfactants, one to stabilize the thickening agent and the other to help bring the polymer into contact with the aqueous phase of the formulation. When the product is added to water, the polymer expands into the water phase to thicken and give stability to the preparation. As the formulation thickens, the oil-phase ingredients are emulsified and stabilized.

DOWSIL(TM) 5562 Carbinol Fluid is a carbinol-functional silicone fluid. This material is unique due to its polar organic substituents. XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.

DOWSIL(TM) 5225C Formulation Aid is an emulsifier for the preparation of water-in-volatile silicone formulations. It is supplied as a 12.5% dispersion of active emulsifier in cyclopentasiloxane. DOWSIL(TM) 5225C Formulation Aid product can be used in a wide range of applications including hair care, skin care, sun care, color cosmetics, and antiperspirants & deodorants.

XIAMETER(TM) OFX-0193 Fluid is a silicone polyether copolymer with a HLB value of 12, as calculated using the wt% of the EO/5 method. This graft-style, hydrolytically stable silicone polyether surfactant has applications in hair sprays and other leave-in hair products, shampoos, skin care lotions, and shaving soaps.
