XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt is a high-viscosity polydimethylsiloxane polymer manufactured to yield essentially linear polymers in a wide range of viscosities. The viscosities generally used in formulating polishes are in the range of 100 to 30,000 cSt. It is preferable to use a blend of a low-viscosity fluid and a high-viscosity fluid (e.g. 3 parts XIAMETER(TM) PMX- 200 Silicone Fluid 100 cSt and 1 part XIAMETER(TM) PMX-200 Silicone Fluid 12,500 cSt) to obtain optimum results in terms of ease of application and depth of gloss. The low-viscosity silicone fluid acts as a lubricant to make polish application and rubout easier, whereas the high-viscosity silicone fluid produces a greater depth of gloss. Since these polymers are inherently water-repellent, they will cause water to bead up on a treated surface rather than penetrate the polish film.

MultiTech Lubricant A is a water-insoluble soap of commercial stearic acid.

MERPOL® SH constitutes a nonionic surfactant solution, offering effective wetting and emulsification properties. It's used as a detergent for hard surface cleaning and as a lubricating agent during rubber part assembly. Its classification belongs to the specialty ethoxylates chemical group.

ZELEC® A081 is an alcohol phosphate that can be used to help decrease the viscosity of high-pressure compounds. It can also be used to reduce and stabilize viscosity and act as a color stabilizer in rubber. It is an additive that inhibits deposits of a corrosive nature during the soldering of light metals (aluminum and magnesium) and can be used in construction as a concrete additive. It is also used as a dispersing agent in ink formulations.

WACKER® Silicone Paste P is a translucent, vaseline-like paste that has a relatively stiff consistency and provides water repellency. When applied to parts, WACKER® Silicone Paste P offers excellent water repellency, which helps protect against corrosion. The paste also becomes softer when subjected to shear stress or other mechanical stress, such as kneading. This softening effect often makes the processing of the paste easier.

T-Det® PEG 4000 F is a water-soluble polymer made from ethylene oxide. FL1710Z is particularly suitable for use in surface coatings, metal decorating inks, low viscosity lubricating oils and is readily dispersed in liquids using either high or low shear mixing. This combination of properties makes FL 1710Z very useful in coating formulations and makes it suitable for use in food contact applications.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL1690Z is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micro powder. It is a lubricant milled to a very fine powder while retaining excellent lubricity properties. These powders can be compounded rubber and plastics or dispersed in liquids to improve the friction and wear properties of the base material. The particles of this area of intermediate hardness, permitting mixing without further breakdown. It is suitable for use in food contact applications.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ TL-368 is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micro-powder that is suitable for compounding in rubber and plastics. The particles of this product are of intermediate hardness, permitting mixing without further breakdown. The slight fibrous nature of Fluon+™ TL-368 will give greater viscosity in fluids. This product is suitable for use in food contact applications.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ FL1650Z is a finely milled PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). It is especially suitable for thermoplastic applications. This micropowder may also be used for compounding in rubber and thermoset products. The rounded particle shape and intermediate hardness permit mixing without further breakdown and without large increases in viscosity. This product is FDA compliant for food contact applications. FL1650Z also features a low volatile content which may have value in specialized applications.
