MistroFoam is a lower-brightness, high-purity, platy, fine talc that is surface treated for improved dispersion and hydrophobicity, as well as die lubrication in plastics and rubber applications. Additionally, it is used for microcellar foam nucleation in polymeric foams and for improving water resistance and electrical properties in wire and cable applications.

MistroFoamTM is used in plastic applications to increase stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability, and in rubber applications to reduce viscosity, improve processing and reduce die plate-out. MistroFoamTM is also used for microcellar foam nucleation in polymeric foams, and for improving water resistance and electrical properties in wire and cable applications.
