- Assembly aid and lubricant for elastomers, especially O-rings.
- WACKER SILICONE PASTE P is easy to apply. There is no dripping as when using oil. Larger parts are greased with the pure paste by hand or with a brush; smaller parts in large quantities are put into a plastic bag with some paste and kneaded until the paste has been distributed over their surfaces. Silicon pastes have a slight swelling effect on most organic elastomers. For lubricating purposes and as assembly aid for materials with critical swelling characteristics we would, however, recommend using silicone product POWERSIL® PASTE AP, which is especially designed for causing low swelling of bordering elastomers.
- Heat-resistance release agent for :
- Extruder die rings
- Slightly porous surfaces of molds for demoulding rubber and plastics moldings and cast resin parts
- Heat-sealing instruments such as used for Packaging Film, where a thin film of WACKER® SILICONE PASTE P applied to the welding bars prevents sticking
