ELASTOSIL® LR 3841/50 A/B is a low-oil-bleeding liquid silicone rubber from the ELASTOSIL® LR 3841 series. It is a paste-like, easily  pigmentable, two-component product with short curing times. Shortly after the curing process, a thin oil film with lubricating properties forms on the surface of the vulcanizates. The vulcanizates are opaque and exhibit good mechanical and electrical properties, as well as very low compression sets.

In comparison to standard high consistency silicone rubber (HCR) grades such as ELASTOSIL® 4001/60, post-cured parts made from ELASTOSIL® R Plus 4066/60 MH exhibit a reduction in coefficient of friction ranging from 50% to 70%.
