BIO-TERGE® PAS-8S E is a high-quality, light-colored, aqueous solution of primary alkane sulfonate, known for its low-foaming, biodegradable anionic surfactant properties. It offers excellent coupling and hydrotropic properties across a wide pH range. With exceptional solubility in acidic and alkaline systems, it's versatile for formulating industrial and institutional cleaners, ensuring compatibility with detergent builders and bleach.

STEPAN® MWA-110 is a sulfonate that is used in metalworking applications. STEPAN® MWA-110 is used in the emulsification of components in metalworking formulations. It can act as a coupling agent for several components in soluble oils, semi-synthetic fluids, and synthetic fluids.

Neutral Calcium Sulfonates Syncal™ N45H is dispersant type, oil soluble, slightly alkaline calcium sulfonates. These products impart excellent rust and corrosion inhibiting properties due to their high molecular weight and low salt content. All have characteristically low chloride contents due to the nature of the manufacturing process.

NA-SUL® CA-HT3 is a high performance rust and corrosion inhibitor offering exceptional rust protection with outstanding high temperature stability and good demulsibility. Contamination with large amounts of water should be avoided1 (e.g. rust preventive dewatering application).

Syncal™ OB408 is multifunctional specialty overbased calcium sulfonates manufactured from long chain alkylbenzene sulfonic acids. These products exhibit good oil solubility, detergency, and excellent high temperature stability. Not only are these products good TBN boosters, they are also excellent feedstocks for manufacturing overbased calcium sulfonate grease. Greases manufactured from either Syncal™ OB408 tend to convert readily and exhibit outstanding gel strength retention properties.

Syncal™ OB308 is a specialty overbased calcium sulfonate that will lend detergent/dispersant, acid neutralizing, and rust and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of lubricating oils, greases, rust preventives, and metalworking fluids. Syncal™ OB308 is a good choice for passenger car, heavy duty diesel, marine and stationary diesel engine oils where good detergency is required. Overbased calcium sulfonate grease manufactured from Syncal™ OB308 will convert readily and exhibit good gel strength retention properties. This product is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Synthetic Sodium Sulfonates Synsul™ NA is a series of synthetic sodium sulfonates of various molecular weights. These products are carefully and selectively manufactured to ensure consistent quality with little variation from batch to batch. The lower molecular weight products, Synsul™ NA 420 and Synsul™ NA 450, have good affinity for water making them excellent components in emulsifier packages. The higher molecular weight products, Synsul™ NA 480, and Synsul™ NA 535, have less affinity for water thereby imparting rust and corrosion inhibiting characteristics. The advantages of these products include lower viscosity for ease of handling, lighter color, and greater batch-to-batch consistency.

NA-SUL® EDS is an ashless rust and corrosion inhibitor used in a wide variety of fuels and lubricants.

NA-SUL® 1101 (formerly KX1101) is a high performance ashless corrosion inhibitor specifically designed for aluminum and zinc alloys. It is soluble in most oils and polyalphaolefins (PAO). It is also very easily emulsified. Due to the acid value of NA-SUL® 1101, contamination with alkaline cleaners, metalworking fluids, or other alkaline process chemicals may result in the formulation of gels or other unwanted by-products. Compatibility tests should be carried out in order to identify any negative interactions.

Synbar™ OB70 (Overbased) is first intent dispersant type, oil soluble barium sulfonates. These products impart excellent water separation and rust and corrosion inhibiting properties while maintaining low-staining characteristics due to their high molecular weight, polarity, and low chloride content.

Oleum Sulfonated Synthetic Sodium Sulfonates Synsul™ 415, 450, and 500 are oil soluble, oleum sulfonated synthetic sodium sulfonates. Synsul™ 415 and 450 have good affinity for water making them excellent components in emulsifier packages. Synsul™ 500 displaces water, making it a good rust and corrosion inhibitor component.

Synbar™ N50HF is a first intent, neutral barium sulfonate designed to provide excellent demulsibility, detergency, and optimal non-staining rust protection. It is ideal for applications where superior rust and corrosion protection are needed. Synbar™ N50HF exhibits good compatibility with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

These products do not contain any aromatic polynuclear hydrocarbons, carboxylates, asphaltenes or chlorinated derivatives. All NSP Naturals™ products offer the formulator excellent solubility, emulsification, and anti-corrosive characteristics due to the broad molecular weight distribution of these products.

K-Amide™ X-1011 is a versatile, low-foaming rust and corrosion inhibitor for use in metalworking fluids, alkaline cleaners, and water-based quenching fluids. K-Amide™ X-1011 exhibits good compatibility with sulfonates, PIBSAs and other products as part of metalworking formulary. The non-tacky films of K-Amide™ X-1011 are easily removed with alkaline cleaners. K-Amide™ X-1011 is non-staining to yellow metals and can be used as a component of soluble oils as well as synthetic and semi-synthetic fluids. K-Amide™ X-1011 offers excellent cast iron chip test results at low concentrations.

Synthetic Sodium Sulfonate Synsul™ 445N is a medium molecular weight sodium sulfonate derived from a specialty alkylate to ensure consistent performance quality. This product is easily formulated into soluble oil bases, semi-synthetic fluids and other metalworking compounds as an emulsifier and rust inhibitor.

NA-SUL® AS is an ashless rust and corrosion inhibitor for industrial lubricants, distillate fuels, and metalworking specialties.

Jalpon™ 1250 is a lower viscosity thixotropic overbased calcium sulfonate designed for use as an additive in oils for metal removal and forming operations including metal stamping and drawing, as well as in other machining oils such as neat and soluble oils.

NA-SUL® CA/W1177 is an additive developed for use where water contact is likely such as dewatering fluids. NA-SUL® CA/W1177 combines excellent corrosion protection for steel with good water separation characteristics.

Alpha Olefin Sulfonate Synsul™ AOS is an aqueous solution of sodium olefin sulfonates with a molecular weight of approximately 325. This non-ionic surfactant is highly effective as the foaming agent in many different personal care applications as well as fracturing fluids for subterranean formations. It also has utility as a foaming agent in enhanced oil recovery and is an efficient component for the clean-up of gas producing wells. Synsul™ AOS exhibits excellent heat stability and is compatible with a wide variety of other additives. It is especially suited for use in freshwater systems and is readily biodegradable.

Synbar™ N50 (Neutral) is first intent dispersant type, oil soluble barium sulfonates. These products impart excellent water separation and rust and corrosion inhibiting properties while maintaining low-staining characteristics due to their high molecular weight, polarity, and low chloride content.

NA-SUL® CA-1089 is a premium rust inhibitor for petroleum and synthetic lubricants, rust preventive fluids and metalworking specialties. It provides outstanding non-staining properties with excellent demulsibility and filterability, both dry and wet. It is compatible with a wide range of additives and base stocks.

NA-SUL® 420 is an easily emulsifiable rust preventive concentrate ideally suited for the protection of metal parts during storage.

Syncal™ N57C and N57HF are cost efficient mid-base calcium sulfonates that will lend detergent, dispersant, acid neutralizing, and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of rust preventives and lubricants. The dispersed soluble CaCO3 helps to neutralize acids, such as HCl, thereby enhancing rust inhibiting characteristics when used in combination with other EP/AW additives like chlorinated paraffin.

Syncal™ N50HF are dispersant type, oil soluble, slightly alkaline calcium sulfonates. These products offer excellent rust and corrosion inhibiting properties. The high polarity of Syncal™ N50HF impart excellent water displacing characteristics to a variety of formulated products.

Branched Sodium Sulfonate Synsul™ 455BR is a unique medium molecular weight sodium sulfonate derived from a branched alkylate. This product is easily formulated into soluble oil bases, semi-synthetic fluids and other metalworking compounds as an emulsifier and rust inhibitor. The branched structure aids in inherent bio-stability. Therefore, fluids derived from Synsul™ 455BR may exhibit longer fluid life than those formulated with either linear or natural sodium sulfonates.

Oleum Sulfonated Synthetic Sodium Sulfonates Synsul™ 415, 450, and 500 are oil soluble, oleum sulfonated synthetic sodium sulfonates. Synsul™ 415 and 450 have good affinity for water making them excellent components in emulsifier packages. Synsul™ 500 displaces water, making it a good rust and corrosion inhibitor component.

NA-SUL® BSB is a premium non-staining rust and corrosion inhibitor with excess alkalinity in the form of barium hydroxide.

Syncal™ OB400 is specialty overbased calcium sulfonates that will lend detergent/dispersant, acid neutralizing, and rust and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of lubricants, greases, industrial oils, rust preventives, and metalworking fluids. Syncal™ OB400 is excellent feedstocks for the manufacture of overbased calcium sulfonate greases and gelled coatings.

Syncal™ N57C and N57HF are cost efficient mid-base calcium sulfonates that will lend detergent, dispersant, acid neutralizing, and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of rust preventives and lubricants. The dispersed soluble CaCO3 helps to neutralize acids, such as HCl, thereby enhancing rust inhibiting characteristics when used in combination with other EP/AW additives like chlorinated paraffin.

Synbar™ OB70HF is a cost effective overbased barium sulfonate. This product will provide the formulator with excellent demulsibility, detergency, and optimal non-staining rust and corrosion protection, even under acidic conditions. Synbar™ OB70HF exhibits good compatibility with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks.

Syncal™ OB320 is specialty overbased calcium sulfonates that will lend detergent/dispersant, acid neutralizing, and rust and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of lubricants, greases, industrial oils, rust preventives, and metalworking fluids. Syncal™ OB320 is excellent feedstocks for the manufacture of overbased calcium sulfonate greases and gelled coatings.

Jalpon™ 1200A is a solvent free, gelled calcium sulfonate compound in a mineral oil diluent. It is designed to allow the easy formulation of solvent-free rust preventives, lubricants, and coatings. Jalpon™ 1200A will deposit an oily film. Jalpon™ 1200A contains a wax component for improved film integrity and resistance to water in thin film applications. Jalpon™ 1200A is easily emulsified for use in waterborne rust preventives and coatings.

Syncal™ OB411 is an economical overbased calcium sulfonate that will lend detergent/dispersant, acid neutralizing, and rust and corrosion inhibiting characteristics to a variety of lubricating oils and greases, rust preventives and metalworking fluids. Nominal dosages would range from 0.50 to 5.0% (Wt.) of the finished lubricant. This product is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils, and synthetic base stocks and is a good choice for crankcase applications.

Neutral Calcium Sulfonates Syncal™ 45LC are dispersant type, oil soluble, slightly alkaline calcium sulfonates. These products impart excellent rust and corrosion inhibiting properties due to their high molecular weight and low salt content. All have characteristically low chloride contents due to the nature of the manufacturing process. Syncal™ 45LC is especially low with a maximum chloride value of 50 ppm guaranteed.
