Kollicoat® Smartseal 30 D is insoluble in water (neutral pH) and dissolves quickly under protonation at pH-values of 5.5 and below due to the defined number of basic functional groups. It is a co-polymer comprising methyl methacrylate (MMA) and diethylaminoehtylmethacrylate (DEAEMA) in the ratio 6:4. Kollicoat Smartseal 30 D is an aqueous polymer dispersion (latex) with a faint characteristic odor. It contains approx. 0.6 % macrogol cetostearylether 20 and approx. 0.8% sodium laurylsulfate.

Kollicoat® Smartseal 100 P is a spray dried powder of a methyl methacrylate (MMA)and diethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DEAEMA) copolymer. The molar ratio of the monomers MMA and DEAEMA in the copolymer is 7:3. The powder contains approx. 2% macrogol cetostearyl ether and approx. 2.5% sodium lauryl sulfate. It is white and has a pleasant characteristic odor.

SmartEx® is a co-processed excipient which consists of L-HPC, D-mannitol and fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and it specially designed for orally disintegration tablets (ODTs) and also immediate release tablet formulation by direct compression. All the excipients are widely used in pharmaceutical industry. One of the main advantage over other co-processed excipients is that SmartEx® contains L-HPC and therefore gives excellent stability.

L-HPC (low-substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose NF, JP, EP) This dual functioning excipient acts as both a disintegrant and binder. It is not the same as HPC. L-HPC is insoluble in water. It is an effective disintegrant due to its swelling action in water. CompactCel® DIS is a natural/organic super-disintegrant which enables a rapid break-up of solid dosage forms when they come into contact with moisture. The super-disintegrant premix is formulated with natrual ingredients which complies with current Clean Label Standards. It provides an alternative to synthetic super-disintegrants, such as crosslinked polymers, crosscarmellose sodium or sodium starch glycolate. CompactCel® DIS helps in the fast breakdown of the solid dosage form so that the active ingredient becomes bioavailable faster and is readily absorbed. It can be also used in the formulation of oral disintegrating tablets (ODT) or chewing tablets.

DICOM SANAQ® LS 004 have average particle size of 300 - 550 microns. It is a combination of Lactose Monohydrate and Starch (maize). Lactose is water loving and soluble in water, at high compression force it hampers disintegration. Starch has multifunction characters and act as binder as well as disintegrant. Starlose has optimized composition of these two ingredients.

F-Melt® Type M is a proprietary co-spray dried excipient launched by Fuji in 2005. F-Melt® is designed not only for manufacturing orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) and tablets that dissolve fast in the oral cavity without the need of water, but is also an excellent excipient for soft chewable tablets. It is suitable for manufacturing directly compressible ODTs simply by blending with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and lubricants. F-Melt® Type M is mainly used for pharmaceutical applications.

CELNY SSL is a water soluble, non-ionic derivative of cellulose, an abundant and natural polysaccharide found in all plants. CELNY™ brand is a high quality grade of HPC for food and nutraceutical use. CELNY is available in a wide range of viscosities and particle sizes to suit your application needs. It is food use approved globally, non-GMO, non-dairy, gluten and common allergen free. CELNY HPC applications include tablet binder, film forming agent, and stabilizer.

Fujicalin® is a dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous designed to function as a direct compression excipient. It has exceptional flow and compression characteristics, while maintaining the ability for rapid disintegration. Neusilin® US2 is a synthetic, amorphous form of magnesium aluminometasilicate. It is a multifunctional excipient that can be used in both direct compression and wet granulation of solid dosage forms. Neusilin® is widely used for improvement of the quality of tablets, powder, granules and capsules. Neusilin® does not develop gel with aqueous solutions unlike other magnesium aluminum silicates. The different grades of Neusilin® have been highly evaluated at home and abroad. It has a market presence of over 60 years in Japan.
