"Founded in 1967, ERG Aerospace Corporation has been manufacturing open-celled, solid ligament metal foams called Duocel®. Since then, ERG Aerospace Corporation has been producing foamed metals, carbons, and ceramics for the aerospace, defense, semiconductor manufacturing, biomedical, and scientific industries. ERG is a proud member of the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Program. Up until the mid-1990’s, the majority of ERG’s business was sequestered for military applications and included the design and manufacture of critical foam components for reconnaissance satellites, nuclear weapons, ICBMs, and other aerospace systems. With the end of the Cold War, the advanced design and manufacturing technologies that ERG had perfected were then made available for commercial, scientific, and non-classified military applications. Our primary facility has been in Oakland, CA since 1967, and in 2017 we added another facility for manufacturing operations in Sparks, NV. On January 1, 2022 ERG officially moved its corporate headquarters to Nevada; the California facility will continue to focus on production, engineering, R&D, and precision manufacturing. ERG is a proud member of the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Program. We always strive to do what’s right and are accountable for our actions. We must wisely use our unique materials and expertise to turn our ideas and technologies into high performance design solutions."

"Hibco Foam Plastics was incorporated in 1959 as three primary investors, C.B. Hughes, J.W. Irvin, and S.A. Bell, saw the future importance of fabricating Dow Brand foam for the floral industry. This focus expanded in 1979 when Dan Pavlansky entered the business and started to concentrate more in the area of cushion packaging. Dan had been a Product Manager with the Dow Chemical Company and understood the technical nature of many complex packaging solutions. The sales volumes doubled when Dan took over, and the company moved from its 14,000 sq. ft. building to a 120,000 sq. ft. manufacturing and warehouse space that the company operates from today. Having developed a strong management team during the ’80s and ’90s, Dan, as Chairman of the Board, took on more of a consultative role, and his presence, leadership, and values are all still going strong today! Mark, Keith, and Chris Pavlansky, three of Dan’s five sons, manage the sales, manufacturing, and day-to-day operations at Hibco. The three brothers, all with engineering backgrounds, navigated to the company through the tough economic times of the Great Recession, and the organization is thriving today as it celebrates 60 years. Hibco Foam Plastics was founded on the principles of providing quality service and products while continuing to first seek the Kingdom of God. Hibco Foam Plastics pledges to you that you will receive the highest quality, best-engineered products available at the most economical cost. We work very hard to ensure that your lead-time is often a fraction of “standard” lead times, and we are committed to doing whatever it takes to satisfy your needs. Whether it is stocking your parts in our 120,000 square feet of facilities, delivering them via our own fleet of trucks, designing them on our Pro/Engineering CAD system, or getting you quick and accurate answers from our customer service personnel, Hibco is dedicated to meeting all of your needs. After 60 years in business, you can trust in knowing that we have the technological experience and ingenuity to help your ideas take shape."

"After selling another very successful business venture in the 1970’s, noted materials scientist Dr. William R. Cuming founded Cuming Corporation in 1980, with a mission to provide innovative materials, including syntactic foam flotation and insulation equipment for the offshore oil and gas industries, and microwave absorber products for the electronics, telecommunications, defense and aerospace industries. From its small start, the company experienced continual growth over the next three decades. Cuming Microwave was spun off as a separate company in 2008, in order to better focus on the rapid growth of our product lines and custom engineering capabilities. Cuming Microwave is located in three plants with 118,000 square feet in Avon, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. These include a common headquarters building, machine shop, R&D equipment, as well as constant informal contacts between our technical staffs. In 2004, with the continued growth of our RF anechoic chamber business, Cuming Microwave purchased Lehman Chambers, a custom construction company and one of our best customers. Cuming-Lehman Chambers is a wholly owned subsidiary, and can provide full turn-key anechoic chamber facilities. Today, we are a world leader in the installation of anechoic chambers for antenna measurements, RCS measurements, passive intermodulation, and EMC compliance. Our RF materials group has a catalogue of standard products, including magnetic and carbon RF absorbing materials, and low loss dielectric products. However, our strength derives from the technical knowledge of our people – we thrive on developing custom solutions to the most challenging materials applications. We engage in extensive research and development activities and testing to provide customers with cost-effective, creative materials solutions. We offer a full-service approach, from engineering to manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of our products."
