"In February 2007, Nova Pressroom Products, LLC was formed as an independently owned and operated manufacturer of blanket and roller washes. Bringing together the most knowledgeable technical and business staff in the Graphic Arts Industry was the foundation for the new company. All of the key managers and research staff came from Anchor LithKemKo when this leading, longtime supplier of pressroom chemicals closed its manufacturing site in Florida. Nova’s goal was, and is, to manufacture safe, effective and environmentally-compliant products, delivering them on time and at a reasonable price. Early in 2008, Nova opened a 23,500 square foot Manufacturing and Research Center in North Jacksonville, Florida. The 2,200 square foot Corporate Headquarters and Customer Call Center was opened in April 2009. The plant is the manufacturing site for Nova fountain solutions, water-based coatings and UV coatings and specialty products. Nova is well positioned for the future. With over 160 different products for sheetfed and web printers, a dedicated dealer network in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Asia and a highly experienced technical staff, Team Nova is ready to partner with you. The Nova business model utilizes the company’s core expertise in printing chemical technology and provides hands on problem-solving support for today’s printers. Coupled with small company flexibility and the desire to achieve superior customer service, Nova is becoming the clear choice for larger sheetfed and web printers."

"Duralar Technologies is a global coating machines company that has created unique new families of advanced ultra-hard metal coatings. Many of these new coatings blend metal and diamond-based components to achieve exceptional toughness, strength and a range of performance qualities. These abrasion resistant coatings are comprised of multiple layers that can be configured in different ways to achieve a range of characteristics for different applications. Often compared with DLC coating, the unique new Duralar technology fills a void between technical thin film coatings, hard chrome plating and alternative markets, offering significant new advantages both in performance and price. Duralar’s special ArmorLube™ is an ultra-hard coating that also provides a clean and dry permanent lubrication — eliminating the need for oils or greases which can attract dust and dirt and cause fouling and jamming. ArmorLube is particularly valuable for the firearms industry, extending the life of parts and maximizing operating performance. Since Duralar is not a sprayed coating it does not have the problems of line-of-sight application. Instead, it is deposited very smoothly and conformally, even on three-dimensional features like screw threads and complex geometries. Another important Duralar advantage is that it can be applied much more rapidly than hard chrome and many other industrial coatings. And because it is non-toxic and inert, it is very friendly to the environment. Duralar deposition systems are available to volume manufacturers and are now enabling new capabilities and innovations in a wide spectrum of industries and applications. Review this website to learn more — and let us know how you’d like to put Duralar coatings to work for you."
