"Founded in 1972 by Dr. Tom Smoot, Kor-Chem was first established as a water treatment and cleaning chemical manufacturing company. Kor-Chem quickly gained a strong reputation for quality products and service, being recognized several times by U.S. Defense Supply Center (DSCR) as a Gold Medal supplier. Building upon these successes, Kor-Chem then began to grow into other market segments such as foodservice and automotive aftermarket products. In 2001, Kor-Chem was acquired by John Fitzwater and family. With many years of corporate specialty chemical experience, Mr. Fitzwater brought a passion and focus on product innovation and technology development. This is especially true in the area of coating chemistry where Kor-Chem greatly increased its’ presence with many successful specialty coating product lines. Kor-Chem acquired the PneumaSeal products business from Pneumateck Industries in 2005. PneumaSeal, the original tire sealant, uses patented technology that prevents and fixes flats in any pneumatic (air-filled) tire. PneumaSeal has international distribution and served to further expand and diversify Kor-Chem’s customer base and product offerings. Turning its’ focus to the graphic arts industry in 2006, Kor-Chem acquired LCM, Inc. a distributor of screen printing chemicals and supplies and again in 2008 when it acquired Sundry Tech Inc. a wholesale distributor of screen printing chemistry. These acquisitions served as base for Kor-Chem’s rapid expansion of environmentally preferred screen printing chemistry products. To continue the trend expansion in graphic arts, Kor-Chem acquired Brewers Printing Ink of Georgia in 2012 and TW Graphics Florida/J&S Inks in 2015. Both companies had been successfully serving their markets for over 30 years. These acquisitions fully integrated Kor-Chem as a graphic arts resource, created additional manufacturing facilities and expanded the capabilities to ink, adhesive and pigment dispersion manufacturing for flexographic and screen printing applications. Today, Kor-Chem, Inc. continues to innovate as a growing leader in formulating and manufacturing specialty chemical solutions. The already impressive portfolio includes over 2000 products in institutional cleaners, industrial products, printing inks and cleaners, coatings, adhesives and pigment dispersions. Kor-Chem moves forward with a relentless commitment to delivering customers innovation, dedicated service and customized solutions."

"The Brewer Company heritage of providing high quality coating and sealant products to our customers actually began over seventy-nine years ago. In May of 1933, The Brewer Company was founded by Pinckney P. Brewer as a company specializing in the construction of brick and concrete pavements. Shortly thereafter the Company’s emphasis turned towards the asphalt manufacturing and construction business and by 1937, The Brewer Company owned and operated three asphalt plants in the Cincinnati area. These three plants afforded us the opportunity to gain expertise and success within the industry. Between 1937 and 1987 the Company expanded to a total of eighteen asphalt and gravel plants and related construction operations in and around Cincinnati, Ohio; Miami, Florida; the U.S. Virgin Islands; and the Bahamas. During this same period, some other significant events took place within the Company. The Brewer Cote Division, now called the Coatings Division, was formed in Cincinnati in 1953. This Division created work for the employees when the asphalt plants were not operating. The Division started out packaging cold mix patching material and filling five gallon pails of pre-mixed pavement sealer by hand. In 1972, the Company expanded this operation by acquiring the roof coating manufacturing business of The Herbert Chemical Company. The Company’s pavement sealer business continued to grow and it became essential to begin manufacturing our own pavement sealer. In 1977, The Brewer Company became a licensee of Engineering Industries, Inc. and for the first time began to manufacture Brewer Cote refined tar-based pavement sealer."

From humble beginnings ArmorGarage has grown into one of the Country's leading supplier of high performance premium grade epoxy coatings and garage flooring products for the US Military, Fortune 500 companies, small business and home owners alike. If you want to know what to buy and how to install it properly then we are the best website for you to read through. Why is that? Because we are one of the largest installation companies in the NY Metro area and after having installed millions of square feet of epoxy floor coatings, roof coatings and interlocking pvc floor tiles we know what works and what doesn't work. That knowledge only comes through endless testing and actual field experience. We stick to what works and not what's the cheapest way to make a product or what the cheapest materials to be used are so that we can advertise super low prices. Everything we manufacture and sell direct to you is either heavy duty or extra heavy duty, that is our mantra, make everything to last as long as physically possible. We've thoroughly tested everything we sell on ourselves, our families and friends first. Then we do extensive field testing on all our products to make sure they perform as designed. All our sales representatives are required to actually install our products in the field. We don't sell anything that doesn't work as advertised! We offer great customer service so that when you call or email, someone knowledgeable who has actually worked with the products will promptly answer all of your product or application questions and other technical issues regarding your project. We are very detail orientated and quality fanatics. We are also not afraid to recommend you to another company that may have a product that's geared more for your application than ours. Or we may advise you not to do anything if we feel that's in your best interest if in our expert opinion there is no viable solution. We rather not make a sale than to have an unhappy customer with a failed product. We are the largest online epoxy coatings sellers in the nation with a great reputation and want to keep it that way That's the Armor Garage difference.

"HYDROCOTE® Resisthane™ was born 32 years ago In response to California’s prospective ban on solvent based lacquers. The now popular “green” movement was heading our way. Over the years technological improvements evolved to the current Resisthane™ PLUS to make it a one of its kind, and continues to remain unprecedented. Its warmth and clarity to the grain or stain along with ease of use, versatility to apply, quick drying and rapid hardness development properties continue to be unrivaled. Equally important, Resisthane™ PLUS is a truly “green” technology formula product, with extremely low VOC, no hazardous air pollutants (HAP) or phthalates, and is chemically insensitive. Magna-Shield® is another wonderful wood finish born roughly 35 years ago and continues to improve through innovations. It satisfies the need for a durable, “self-sealing” pre-cat lacquer with the ability for a high film build (more than four coats) without cracking or crazing six months down the road. Its unique chemistry also delivers blush resistance up to a relative humidity of 96% and a smooth finish straight from the gun. EVERLAST™ Wood Finish and the Quick Drying Wood Grain Fillers are two equally extraordinary products. The latter being lacquer based, and now also available in water-based, able to seal and fill the grain quickly and economically on most tighter grain furniture and millwork fast and easy. The EVERLAST™, an Eco-Smart™ interior/exterior wood finish, offers an unsurpassed durability to a polyurethane with the richness and beauty of a varnish and Tung-oil, yet without that obnoxious odor. Dries and cures 75% faster than Tung-oil and will not support spontaneous combustion. The EVERLAST™ GYMCOAT is an enhanced wood finish designed specifically for wood flooring. Both products are now the preferred choice by architects 9 to 1, whether furniture or flooring."
