Campine is the leading European group in the production of antimony-trioxide and its conversion into fire retardant masterbatches. As part of a metallurgical group, Campine is excellently positioned to source and recycle antimony containing raw materials and convert them into high quality antimony trioxide.
Antimony trioxide is the most performant flame retardant synergist in combination with halogens. It is also used as a solid state polycondensation catalyst for PET bottles and in pigment applications.
In addition to antimony trioxide, Campines Specialty Chemical Business offers a range of halogen containing and halogen free flame retardant masterbatches. They are effective in Electric and Electronic applications, in Building and construction and in Automotive applications. These masterbatches are a ready-to-use solution for all thermoplastic polymers that need a flame retardant performance.
CelluComp is a Scottish-based company located in Fife, near Edinburgh. Our team of scientists and business professionals work on the development and commercialisation of sustainable materials. Our principle activity is to develop and commercialize Curran®, a material developed from the extraction of nanocellulose fibers of root vegetables, primarily from sugar beet pulp, which is a by-product of the sugar industry. Curran® offers exceptional mechanical and rheological properties for numerous applications, such as paints and coatings, inks, personal care, home care, paper, food, concrete, drilling fluids, composites and other potential applications.
