AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. Fluon+™ TL-171EZ is a white PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) micropowder which is easy to disperse in a wide range of liquids. The reduced total surface areas of Fluon+ TL-171EZ minimizes viscosity increase during mixing. The particles are soft, however, and retain good film forming capability. This combination of properties makes Fluon+ TL-171EZ very useful in coating formulations. Fluon® TL-171EZ is suitable for use in food contact applications.

It has excellent thickening power when used as an extreme pressure (EP) agent in hydrocarbon and fluorosilicone fluids, and is used to meet MLGI Class 2 Specifications. Fluon+ TL-120 is ideally suited as an additive to all solid and liquid media. In printing inks, it may be used as an anti-scuff and release agent. It is suitable for food contact applications.

This ETFE (tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer) has a functional group polymerized directly in to the chain backbone, allowing it to adhere to other materials. This resin is ideal for producing multi-layer structures in a one-step process without the need for surface treatment or a separate adhesive layer. LH-8000 offers the lowest melting point of all the AH series resins, yet with the same desirable properties of other ETFEs, including non-stick, excellent processability, and superior chemical resistance.

This product is ideal for hose constructions which require chemical resistance, permeation resistance, and unsurpassed protection against static build-up. AH-800C has a higher upper-end temperature rating (approaching 200°C) and improved resistance to stress cracks at elevated temperatures. These products are supplied in cylindrical pellet form. These pellets are approximately 0.080 inches in diameter x 0.125 inches long.

AGC Chemicals Americas, Inc. LUMIFLON® LF710F - FEVE Resin Polyol is a fluoroethylene vinyl ether (FEVE) resin designed for weather-resistant, high performance powder coatings. LF710F resin has hydroxyl functionality allowing for crosslinking with polyisocayanates or amino curing agents. Powder coatings based on LF710F exhibit excellent durability in exterior weathering exposure, resisting chalk, color fade, and gloss loss. LUMIFLON LF710F is supplied in flake form. It is soluble in various common solvents and may be used in high performance solventbased coatings. It may be used on a variety of substrates requiring long term weatherability. FEVE resins tend to have good adhesion to metal. Depending on the service environment, they may be used to coat directly over metal without the use of primer.
